Guardian for center point holding.
Mesmer w/ portal for back point holding (communicate with your team, this has a broad skill-range).
Elementalist roamer (essential in khylo for anti-treb)
Thief Roamer (prioritizes deadly targets, rides them hard: see Necro)
Power necro with rez signet. Blows up mid node. Focuses on staying at mid point.
Tactics: Won't reveal specifics that we use, but the 'meta' seems to have a general "mesmer to close, all other 4 to mid"
Don't bother taking the far node (there are exceptions), winning the middle is your only concern. This keeps your team close so you can always out-roam the enemy team and have the numbers advantage. If you try to take the far point, you'll just lose it to the enemy team as they constantly zerg it from their respawn and overwhelm you.

Warrior or guardian for extra face roll.
Craft to shortcut.
IMO, if the game is so painful to you that you can't be bothered to level - don't play - find something else to do with your time. If you don't actually like playing a game, why play it?
I love playing it, exploring, etc.
I just want to level another class to 80 that's not ranger for the lulz, precisely because I love the game.
I just want to know quick ways to level in case I am tired of running around for Heart Scouting lol. Calm yourself lad, no need to jump to conclusions.

So you have a ranged or defensive set just in case. I only use warhorn for swiftness at spawn and then I swap in another secondary and in my playing experience having sword on both sets is only good for less skilled players in 1v1, you often run into annoying mesmers/rangers, etc... that you need some more defence or some range to kite... Also you will have 2+ opponents at least once in a match and you won't ever be able to survive with Sword/warhorn.
also if you choose to switch, have the sigil of energy/hydromancy to gain that extra dodge roll to mitigate a burst skill or to waste one of their opening-mid fight skill in their rotation, and the 3sec freeze on switch. You don't really need sigil of battle on if you decide to have a defensive/cc secondary set since you would only accidently get killing blows instead of switching back to Sword/sword after mitigating a lot of dmg and cc'ing them.
So for me, i'd probably go for Mace(Sigil Geomancy or Energy) and Shield(Hyromancy), or Longbow(burning)/Rifle(Bleeds) ranged with Sigil Energy/Force/Agony(or Smoldering for bow).
Just what i'd change... I love how much Toughness, condition damage and crit. chance you achieved and 18k health is only gonna get you killed with the lack of defensive options. Just some things to think about regarding active survival.
Let me know what your thoughts are.

A heavy class (Warrior or Guardian) + any squishier one. Personally I think Guardian+Engi makes a great team for survivability, damage and cc.

Pick your poison.
Point being: Whether you play sub games or f2p games, neither have a desirable game design to them.

precision makes sense. there's way too much swiftness (more than needed for perma), so runes can be modified. not enough vit. and like no power.
im gonna try with soldier amulet + rampage jewel. crit is lower, but you gain 6k health, some toughness and a lot of power. with precision sigils, crit aint too bad at all. cheers.

There is little achievement for a T1 server to win a match, however congratulations are still in order because its still an accomplishment. There are far too many factors such as coverage, free server transfers forum trolls (psyops) that undermine this achievement in a really big way. Lots of guilds realize they're skill, hard work and dedication can be completely nullified by these factors and either transfer to a winning server or just leave WvW all together.
I would like to take this opportunity to shine a spotlight on the players & the guilds that fight hard against overwhelming odds no matter which server or tier you are in.
And this is really the essence of it methinks.... building a cohesive team takes a considerable amount of out game time and effort. The vast majority of guilds don't participate in this let alone take on a leadership role in the effort. As such, its just easier to take your 'uber' individual guild and move it to a team environment that is already in place and functioning. Much easier than sticking it out and working with other guilds of like mind to build something and struggle through the bad times when they happen.
Frankly, it is why structures like HoD/TA are quite attractive to most guilds. There they do not have to lead. Leadership is handled by the few at the top putting in the effort. The problem here, as we have seen, is there is no deep leadership bench and when the leadership guild(s) tosses in the towel .... for whatever reason ... the structure crumbles quickly. No big deal, the guilds in question here will just move to the next place teamwork or an opportunity to team win already exists. Much too big of a hassle to build something from scratch while losing
Frankly WM struggled on SBI in the beginning. And I think Bahaness and others would freely admit this. Understand that WM was more of a structured PvP/GvG guild where winning and losing was fully in their control. Now comes WvW where winning is dependent on a whole bunch of people you don't have any real control over ...
Anyway, I think any server up near the top these days has the potential to be number 1 on any given Sunday. Heck, certainly BG had the skilled players and guilds, jumping out to a 20K lead after the weekend during their first match in T1. Holding it together when you don't take first in T1 or even losing and dropping to T2 is what really determines if you will be a competitive server for the long haul. I know SBI, JQ, and BG has the stuff. I think IOJ has a good foundation as well. I am anxious to see what tricks SoS has in the bag.

Cap Points, Maybe.
(Sorry no audio version... you seriously don't want to hear me sing.)
I read a thread on the net,
Saying “get ready, get set”
Oh how we’re gonna regret,
It when you’re in first place.
The trolls began to explode,
Just how bad it would erode
children attempting to goad
Me into posting this.
Your rage was showin’
tears and vile flowin’
As the fight got goin’
Just who’s gonna win now baby?
Hey we just beat you,
And this is crazy,
But please stop crying
and cap points, maybe?
It’s hard to have fun,
When your raaging,
so please stop crying,
and cap points, maybe?
Hey we just beat you,
And this is crazy,
But please stop crying
and cap points, maybe?
And to the other teams
You be angrrrrrrrry
But please stop crying,
And cap points, maybe?
Instead I laughed and I sighed
watching the three teams collide
The game so evenly tied
but still, I hoped we’d win
I hoped and prayed for a day
that each team would just play
A Mesmer dead in the fray
But still the white flags rose
Your rage was showin’
tears and vile flowin’
As the fight got goin’
Just who’s gonna win now baby?
Hey we just beat you,
And this is crazy,
But please stop crying
and cap points, maybe?
It’s hard to have fun,
When your raaging,
so please stop crying,
and cap points, maybe?
Hey we just beat you,
And this is crazy,
But please stop crying
and cap points, maybe?
And to the other teams
You be angrrrrrrrry
But please stop crying,
And cap points, maybe?
Before you wallowed in the thread
We beat you so bad
We beat you so bad
We beat you so, so bad
Before you wallowed in the thread
We beat you so Bad
And you should know that
We beat you so, so bad
It’s hard to have fun,
When your raaging,
so please stop crying,
and cap points, maybe?
Hey we just beat you,
And this is crazy,
But please stop crying
and cap points, maybe?
And to the other teams
You be angrrrrrrrry
But please stop crying,
And cap points, maybe?
Before you wallowed in the thread
We beat you so bad
We beat you so bad
We beat you so, so bad
Before you wallowed in the thread
We beat you so Bad
but get over that
So cap points, maybe?

Defensive stats only get you so far... what really matters are things like dodge, teleports, stealth, shadowsteps, invul frames such as death blossom/flanking strike. With the right abilities and the right player talent, you can go all out damage and still be a very tough target to take down.
Range is also a huge survivability tool.

AH heals for every stack of every buff you apply. If you apply 1 stack of might to yourself it triggers once. If you apply 1 stack to yourself and 4 teammates it procs 5 times. If you apply 3 stacks to your entire team(like VoJ does) it procs 15 times. If you apply a symbol of prot with empowering might you can get 10 procs every second(FYI that's over 700 HP/s alone) by doing nothing but spamming #1 with Hammer. Start adding in other things like resolve, regen, heal on dodge(you'll prob have perma vigor too) and then decide to trollmode with something like staff #4 which gives 12 stacks of might to nearby allies(yep 60 procs of AH!) plus a 2k heal at the end and you have a 6k+ heal on a 16s cooldown that's not even your normal heal spell! Then we could get into all your virtues proc'ing group wide buffs but I think you get the picture.

Really? I thought you of all people would be 80 Aether. I don't comment much but I've been reading you guys since Pre-launch
I played maybe 1 hour of PVE last month. With 5-6 hours queue time for WVW I see no incentive to do any PVE when I can do PVP without needing to level grind. I did the first 2 dungeons, was underwhelmed, never touched PVE again since that.
