This problem doesn't occur to me, but to a friend of mine by which we still can't manage to solve.

System Specs (Laptop):

Windows 7 32Bit
3GB DDR2 Ram
Core 2 Duo CPU
9500M GS

Temperatures:

CPU Temp: 52 Degrees
GPU Temp: 82 Degrees

The green and blue boxes appear in the trading post window and once you restart the client it works like normal, I'm planning to update the graphic drivers tomorrow which will hopefully solve it but was wondering if anyone encountered this problem too.

Ok so I was happy when I read:

Increased the loot rewards on many world boss chests, including the chests in Orr temples and the dragon chests.

But then I read:

Fixed a bug on certain world boss chests that was causing them to drop fewer rewards than intended. These chests can now only be looted once per day, to encourage players to fight multiple bosses and spread out across the world.


I'm not sure who's taking the decisions on these "genius" ideas but more than encourage they're literally forcing the players to spread and that's a no go in my book.

Wasn't this supposed to be a "theme park" game? If they limit us to 1 chest per day on each boss how the hell that concept makes any sense?


I guess I'll have to see for myself in game before judging but I'm not liking this.

Thoughts?

I was wondering if anyone still has the game installed on their pc. It's an FPS game similar to Quake3 / UT.

If anyone still has it installed I got a question please.

This has been on my mind for quite some time. The current system to obtain ascended gear is grind (for backpacks) and gambling the daily chest.

First I'll start with backpacks, while their prices may seem exaggerated and I truly think they are, there should be a reduction in the materials.


Now the rings:

Rings obtainable only from daily chest is a horrible idea (I know Anet admitted this mistake and are looking into it).

So since the mystic forge is a staple in GW2. ANet could either make a "Ascended Forge" level that loads after the Jade Maw level (much like how fissure of woe worked in GW1).

Or

Introduce a fractal crafting profession obtainable inside the fractal lobby.

I don't have a concept on how the accessories would be crafted but a mix of outside world materials and fractal tokens would be a start.


The recipes would require a modest time to acquire but not in a way that is an excessive grind (like the backpacks are). This would give everyone a chance to get them and WITH the stats the players want.



Suggestions? Opinions? :-)

I've got a friend that runs the game on a laptop with Win7 32bit, 3GB DDR2 Ram and a 9500M GPU.

The game runs fine except for the usual crashes that almost every win32bit user is having.

I've tried using the 3GB Switch: bcdedit /set IncreaseUserVa 3072


Friend says the game runs fine with the switch on except that the mouse isn't as fluid as before so I had to remove the switch, I can't properly determine the problem with the mouse since I'm doing this remotely (logmein).

Anyone got an idea what else I can do (besides installing Win64bit or Getting a better comp)? If I need to change the value in the switch what would be a good one?
