So just uploaded a new video, its a pilot episode for a potential show that might run in our season 1. I wont update the main post as its not part of the Pre-Season as such but any feedback and ideas on the show would be great:



This version is very rough around the edges and the production quality would be drastically improved but we want to ask for feedback and suggestions on what to include and see what people think of the idea.

So the premise of the show is to break down and discuss a match from one player perspective, discussing tactics, positioning, skill usage etc very slowly, taking time over each detail. It may also include a pre-gameplay break down of the players build. We want to use mainly video from average-good players, this allows us to point out what they do wrong as well as right to get a better analysis and provide a more informative video. It also may possibly become a very detailed show getting into the very fine details of players gameplay and tactics.

So please leave any feedback in the comments below. We have a number of other show we may pilot in the lead up to season one as well as continuing with our commentary's as the main part of the channel.

Hey hendel, thanks for the feedback.

I generally try to stay fairly impartial as far as "supporting" one team more than another, or getting over excited at one teams success and not the others, but with only one teams perspective, and generally only one PoV I have found it better to "commentate" on their gameplay rather than casting the match as a whole. This will of course change when spectator mode is implemented. Its just a style thing at the moment.

The "we/us" thing is kinda something I have have a few talks with people about. Im still not sure if I really like it or not. We decided it works well with single PoV games as the viewer seems to relate better to the player, and as I said before, its a commentary on their gameplay rather than a casting. I agree that it doesn't work as well with the multi PoV games where its possible to be a bit closer to a real shoutcast. I was already planning to go for a bit more of a "shoutcast" style with the next multi PoV game I get so hopefully you prefer that style.

Some time in the next few days I will be piloting a few idea's for other shows that will be included on the channel. They will be a bit rough around the edges but I want to see what people think of the idea's behind the shows so we can see what ones to expand on and add to our season 1 schedule. Any feedback on those would be fantastic, will update this thread when they are uploaded.
