I think this game is still in beta. Ie I don't think it was "READY" when it was released. I won't recommend buying it atm.
I would recommend waiting a couple of months and look at the community's reaction about the patches for Q1 this year. It's apparently as big as an expansion pack. Which means it might be IMO (finally) the complete release of GW2.
