thats why most of the warriors are using an axe.
but i 100% agree with you and i am raging when see warrios/thiefs playing on dungeons with bows (range weapons)... You are doing it wrong!

i leveled thief and then warrior didnt have any issues.

Guardian is most support a class and lucks on range builds fits well on any party
warriors is mobile u can spec it in anyway u want
