That's a great point!  Now if only this discussion were about the best ways to farm prezzies you'd /winthread!  But it's NOT.  The discussion is about the FEATURE (giant, exploding gifts) that A-net included in the Wintersday festivities and how it's being played out in-game.  And yes, what's happening (or not happening) with the resultant mobs IS an issue.  As a matter of fact it's the main issue of this whole discussion.

Now that they've added the Golem toys (WTF were you thinking, A-Net?),  I have more sympathy towards those that do the hit and runs.  The dolls have nothing on those bastards!

I fight 'em and kill 'em off on the off chance that I'll get a couple more prezzies in the process.  It usually pays off with 1 or two more, and a couple of times I've gotten 4 additional prezzies from the baddies (when I've been solo).  The dolls can be tough, but using a clone-spamming mesmer, they don't pose a problem.

And +1 for a little common courtesy!

No, I don't care about town clothes.  I've not no use for them, and not much use for the cities, for that matter.    The only reason I even have town clothes on my characters is because the basic set new characters get upon creation doesn't take up inventory space.  If they did take up space, I'd have tossed them months ago.
