In Topic: Server transfer - wvw only

Until the free server transfers are gone, everything is in flux. If you don't mind paying a bit, I would wait a week or two after server transfers cost. If you don't want to wait, I would avoid bottom tier servers as they can feel like a ghost town. I would also avoid top tier servers as they can get crowded making peak time have some really long waits. Our guild switched up to a tier 3 US server recently and have been happy with the move.

This player is almost singularly focused on small skirmishes where AoE is far less effective so I think the choice of direct damage over AoE is warranted but I do agree SB creates more overall WvW utility. However like my ranger and his long bow, a person can always switch to SB once they start running in a zerg or taking a keep.

I will watch those logs next time. I am pretty sure at least one of his weapon sets is P/P because when uncloaked at range the player is dual wielding pistols like a gunfighter. Then they jump (heart seeker I am guessing) and start hitting their target at close range.

I think this person is using P/P to exhaust the dodges and utilities of a player then switching to a melee set for closing, damage and stealth once their target has a lot of cooldown. I am guessing the are running regen while in stealth because when they come out of stealth they are almost always full up on health.

I have run into some very effective thieves but so far this one has been the best small skirmish and terribly hard to kill even with 2-up. I have been engaging in the fights just to get better at managing thieves in general.

In Topic: F interaction bug, is it only me?

Never seen this. The only annoying F problem I have is when an NPC is too close to an action and the game assumes I want to talk to a random NPC rather than perform said action but I wouldn't classify that as a bug.

I get this is an MMO and people expect to play it for thousands of hours, but it is still just a game and if a person enjoyed 100+ hours out of their 50 bucks or so then they are getting a good value. Few MMO games our of the box if any can have enough content to support endless hours of play for the masses as that generally takes years to develop. Even the venerable WoW in the beginning while impressive was a walking disaster at end game with no decent PvP. So like all modern MMOs, this one will get a bit boring for many players then they will release an expansion and it will be game on again.

Can't we just enjoy a fantastic game for what it is and once we get bored remain hopeful that future expansions will bring us back to the game? Its not like there is 15 bucks a month looming over a players head. As for me, I have 400 hours give or take and feel like I am getting great value for my money even if thieves in WvW can suck it.
