#1973408 Dyeing underwear! xD

Posted Kaguchan on 27 September 2012 - 08:03 AM

Too much anger lately in the forums, what about a more funny topic? :P

What you think, should they add a feature to dye the underwear?

If my pants (or else) break, I'd personally love to see the underwear in pink! :P Yellow is absolutely no go!

I'd go for...

Well, white is nice but your armor happens to break under water...

Black maybe... or maybe red.

Different textures could be nice, too. Like striped, or lace, and such.

Definitely. I'd love white underwear with hearts on it.

It's just the GW2 way of saying hello.

I usually jump into a battle cause it's fun to "help" another player kill something.

#1944944 Is anyone else not bothered about changes to dungeons?

You can't run other dungeons.

The developers lied, again.

This was my first time doing TA for the day. Only other dungeon I did was HoTW explorable.

This guy is just such a typical rage-grind-gamer. He just wants to grind currencies until hes got the highest-end game gear and wait for the next update so he can grind the next tier.

I'm pretty sure ArenaNet made it clear they didn't want this game to be that style, which is probably why they did that. IMO if end game became LFG CoE Fast it would just be another grindfest end-game MMO.

So to answer the OP question, I am another person not bothered by it. But I'm atypical to the crowd that generally populates these forums, because a majority of them care way too much about what they think this game should be and #Rage if it isn't.

#1944315 Why change dungeon farming?

Posted Zhahz on 18 September 2012 - 04:07 PM

Running dungeons repeatedly as a way to get gold seems like a really lame way to play a game.  Surely that isn't "fun" ?  Surely that isn't the intent of the dungeons either.

You don't have to buy gold from the cash shop.  You don't need piles of gold NOW.  You don't have to play the game like it's a job - you could've done that in WoW or other formula MMORPGs.

Why do you need so much gold now?  So you can gear up to the point of not needing to play anymore, so you can push optional legenaries faster, or what?

Basically rapid acquisition of gold is for shortcutting the game, so it's not much of a surprise that ANet wants to do something about it.

If the game has just become a formula to you where you repeat the same boring script or if you don't actually like the game outside of that...as someone else said, why are you playing?

#1943577 are euro servers in america?

Posted Lord_Demosthene on 18 September 2012 - 12:21 PM

Like someone has already mentioned, there are two data centers for GW2. the Americas data center is located in Austin, United States and the EU one is located in Frankfurt, Germany.
Authentication servers are all located in Austin, United States.
For some reason, however, the ping to the EU servers is fluctuating. For example: My ping to the data center in Frankfurt is 30ms but the server ping fluctuates between 40 and 230ms, which is really bad.

There goes your shitty conspiracy. How about researching links to threads that you've quoted, OP?

#1552225 Any Standard Edition buyers who regret it?

Posted Ish on 27 June 2012 - 10:30 AM

What's to regret? I got the game.. I've bought all previous CE of Guild Wars, and that wasn't worth it. So I get a few extra [worthless] in-game items and a some fancy figurine or whatever. In retrospect, it was a complete waste of money. I'm happy just to get the game.

#1550817 Anyone else regretting preordering, still not knowing the release date?

Posted umbraticus on 26 June 2012 - 07:51 PM

we were never promised a release date for pre-purchasing. just '2012'
so, nope, no regrets

#1550813 Anyone else regretting preordering, still not knowing the release date?

Posted eviator on 26 June 2012 - 07:49 PM

Nope, but for me money isn't an issue. I'm old enough to understand the value of patience. I want the game, but I want it to release in a good state, and so I'm willing to wait for that.

He knew this and still lvl'd to 80 in such a short timespan, getting barely no sleep. That is a sign of mental problems, if you do something like this in real life, you would be locked up in a mental disorder facility.

Since you know so much about mental disorders you can present to us the specific disorder he is suffering and the criteria from the  DSM-IV-TR or V that you used to come to this conclusion. At the very least you can provide your credentials as a trained clinical psychologist so I can report you to your board for practicing irresponsibly through an internet forum. If you are untrained, you should not be pretending to be trained enough to diagnose people as having a mental disorder. Mental disorders can be serious, and not to be just branded about at your whim.

#1455357 Any one else starting to feel a little screwed over?

Posted Leeto on 18 May 2012 - 12:13 PM

Getting in occasional guaranteed BETAs vs Just starting to play when the game is released. I take the first one. BETAs is bonus you get for free so its pointless to even mention fact that you have prepurchased game.
