Posts I've Made

In Topic: Last of a Generation

I appreciate all the help and guidance.  I went ahead and ordered the list a few posts above, and I am now using the PC.

Are there any helpful programs or guides to a new computer that might be worth taking a look at?

Thanks again.

Thanks everyone for your responses.

I took the Video Card/PSU notes serious because those are the two things I've had fail in past builds, so quality is important to me.

I'm curious if anyone has an opinion on the PCPartPicker compatibility note of 1.65V RAM, and what the effects are on the CPU memory controller running at above average voltage over a long period of time(years).

I've also read about the Class Action Lawsuit being brought against Nvidia and Gigabyte about the misrepresenting of the 970's memory capabilities.  I've swapped out to a 970 in any case for a longer life build and because 1440p and above gaming isn't really in the plans for now.

And it was never my intention to wait for either Broadwell or Skylake.  I just thought the title was catchy instead of the old "Rate my build" standard, dull title xD

Edit: I'm not sure why but for some reason the part list link generator isn't updating when I add new parts, so here's the current list:

In Topic: Shouldn't we be able to see enemy commanders?

For one you can see enemy commander's buff just not the blue dorito icon as my guild leader likes to call it.  Two, who in their right mind would broadcast their location to an enemy except in specific situations like diversionary tactics or a trap.  Having enemy commanders visible would only serve to subtract a realistic element of WvW.

Such a cool guy.  I hope he does well in whatever venue he ends up in, so we can see more of his art!

When I'm not utilizing a VoIP program, I keep SFX low but audible and swap between a number of playlists.  I haven't tried using the in-game playlist, yet.

Artists include: Jeremy Soule's other works(GW1, Skyrim, etc.), John Vaderslice, Crystal Castles, The Prodigy, Mortiis, Phillip Glass, Velvet Acid Christ, Maynard James Keenan, Korn, Aphex Twin, Trent Reznor, The Delgados, Kronos Quartet, Clint Mansell, Nurse With Wound, and a smashing of classical composers(Beethoven, Wagner, Brahms, Dvorak, etc.).
