The races are about as innovative as they get in MMOs. I mean, in almost every MMO you see, races are either pure human or are just copies of the classic DnD/LotR races (elves, dwarves, goblins, etc.). In GW2, we have races that 3 playable races that are pretty much unique to the universe. Not only are these races visually unique, but their cultural style is also very distinct.
For most games, you'll have a race that is pretty much a re-skinned version of a current pre-defined culture (i.e. dwarves being short, bearded Scottish/Irish people). There are influences in many races from pre-existing cultures in many GW2 races, such as Tengu being very ancient Japan-influenced and Charr being very Orc-influenced, but when you look at something like Sylvari, you have something very unique: They are born at a full-grown age, have a the concept of a Wild Hunt, form strict monogomous relationships with others, regardless of gender identity, and tap into a sort of eternal knowledge without being omnipresent or psychic.
I know this topic is inherently subjective, but I'm really not sure what standard you're trying to compare GW2 to. I mean, what game do you think has more 'innovative' races than GW2?
Also, where are you getting propaganda out of multiculturalism?
