Yea I remember the days when henchman were sufficient to complete the 3 ring of fire missions :) /sarcasm
If you truly played GW you would know henchman were useless from ascension onwards and people were 'forced' to group up with other players.

I finished prophecies at the age of 13 with henchmen and a terrible non-pvx ranger build made of random skills.

Like seriously?

Come play GW1.

Basically this.

You would be surprised but GW1's PvP is still quite active, and you can still have a pretty hardcore experience. RA is still one click start, GvG still takes the same time it took before GW2(Even though bots are everywhere) aaaaand JQ is populated by pros so you may want to check it out too lol.

Btw GW1 is still definitely much better than the garbage GW2 is.

Guild Wars 1.  Hands down the greatest PvP for any MMO style game ever.  The Guild V Guild system is still very active.

I come from there, so, yes, something like that would be my wish. BUT the game is inevitably dead, I tried to build a GvG guild with some friends but we either find bots who resign before the start or epically skillful esport guilds who mow us down. There is no way I can even get into the game anymore, sadly.

Forge - MMO style combat crossed with FPS, but in a dedicated PVP game

Ive seen it before but Im really unsure if I should buy this game. The combat seems tactical but will it be enough or after one week youll get bored because of the same tactics over and over again without any changes? And is the combat even that tactical? Not to mention that what worries me is that the community is not big at all(Its an indie game, Ive seen 15000 buyers on steam, not that much at all).

Have you got more precise info to share?

If you're willing to concede the swords and sorcery, I am pretty sure that nothing beats EVE online for pvp.

Im pretty sure too, but thats the problem, Im giving up my medieval background, which I cant really stand. Also, the fact that it is both subscription fee based and hardcore to the bone makes me fear this game.

Also, anyone with info on Dark Souls? Is it worth something like 500 hours of PvP or you get bored soon?

Dont even bother replying to that people anymore, they completely miss your point over and over again, while they keep stating that grind as a definition and execution is completely subjective while it isnt. Just let it go.

I got in the beta last weekend. I quit after 2 hours.

Let's put it in this way: if you like GW2, you should stay away from it since its a way way worse clone(That game made me log in GW2 after I quit, just wtf); if you hate GW2, youll hate Neverwinter even more.
