An expansion with multiple new weapons, a new profession, a new continent (roughly 3/4ths or half the landmass that is current Tyria)
20+ more utility skills for each profession
Ability to swap out weapon skills in the same weapon class
Less invisible walls
Better dungeon content design

In Topic: [Living Story SPOILER] I might have found the pax announcement.

Please no more Sylvari shit.
Not that I care anymore. It just makes me cringe every time I see the latest that ANet writers come up with

Daily Chores redux.
Is this what ANet has? Is the Dev team really that small now?
What a sad sequal to GW.

GW2 isn't dead, the game still has plenty of players, it's still being frequently updated, I see it mentioned in positive light even on the other game forums/games I frequent/play, the official forums and subreddit are still active, woodenpotatoes viewer count on GW2 vids is holding steady, and though it's not doing as well as hoped in china, earning reports are still favorable overall.
The guru forums on the other hand certainly seem to be their last leg.
I was very active here on guru pre and post GW2 launch, but eventually left because of certain cancerous elements on the site spoiling my posting experience. I liked guru enough that I even sent a friendly messege to a mod explaining my problem before leaving, in the hopes that I could one day return to a better experience.
Today I happened to think of guru and decided to check in, a year or so after my last visit to the site, to see how things are going.  Remembering my password was actually a bit of a struggle lol
But lo and behold, it's just about dead, and I see some familiar faces are amonsgt the few who still post here. [hello there :) ]
It's kind of depressing to see actually :/ Like going to visit a park you went to as a child, and finding out houses were built on that plot of land.
Shilling to the end.

It's not hard because the content is hard to execute on or because the different stages are hard to beat.  It's hard because the people you are playing with are stupid.  Hence why...

All that's changed is that enough decent players took the method they used to complete this content and beat it into and shouted it at every noob that came their way.  Wurm and Tequatl get taken down by what are effectively bands of monkeys, only having learned what to do by watching the monkeys before them do it, and it's so easy that any new monkey can walk in and do what all the other monkeys are doing and win.  They're all still stupid, as would be evident by the introduction of any new content of the same style as this.  It would spark the same outcome of everyone tripping over themselves for the first few days, some smart people figuring out how to get things done, lots of noob harassment to make the winning strategies clear to everyone, and then the takeover and farming of the content by monkeys who only need to be smart enough to watch and imitate others.

The content is still just as hard or easy as it was by its latest revision because of how static it is, but everyone can do it now using no more intelligence than a monkey.  That's because the content isn't actually hard, and the people element that makes it feel that way has been dealt with.
WoW has the same monkeys, but most guilds aren't able to do what the better ones can.
See the problem? GW2 is way too simple.
So depressing.
