I have been waiting for the crafting UI change for a long time.  It is an essential quality of life enhancement.

Perhaps it will prevent me from major screw ups that ALWAYS seem to happen every time I have an extended crafting session......I suddenly lose my ability to do math. lol

Then you're playing with fire. :)

It's likely they need to deploy a patch to end the festival, and I don't see them doing that before the new content is ready (why do two patches in one day if they don't have to?).  So I would pull the trigger late Mon, or as early Tues as you can.

It's not even 100% necessary to be on the same server (unless you plan to WvW together), because the megaservers try to prioritize party members and friends together.

Although on MULTIPLE occasions, my friend and I, from the same server, in the same guild, in the same party, entering a map at the same time, have ended up in separate instances.

Which can be quickly remedied by one of you clicking on the other's portrait and clicking the 'Join in ..." option.

In Topic: Black Lion Tickets

So basically the plan is to flat out reduce ANet's income?  Where is the incentive for Anet to do this?  The plan should be to maintain ANet's income stream, but make it more player friendly.  For example, raising the price of BL keys, but making ticket scraps a guaranteed drop, and complete tickets a substitute rare drop.  One of the biggest problems with BL chests is there is a high probability of not getting anything worthwhile.  That's probably the biggest problem with their RNG nature.

However, you don't have to spend a dime on it if you convert gold to gems.  I suspect one day, if I play long enough, I won't have anything significant to spend gold on, and will transfer some to gems every so often.

In Topic: "Infinite Transmuter" Wardrobe Item

Obviously it would be a welcome item, but would ANet find it cutting off their income stream a bit too much?  Most of those infinite items listed only remove gold sinks from the system, not gem store purchases.  But I guess they can weigh the avg amount of future Xmute purchases and set a gem price at or above that amount to offset the loss.
