#2103894 What I got from the state of pvp discussion...

2 months ago everyone thought Eles were underpowered and useless. A month ago they become a mainstay on nearly every tPvP team because people found a niche for them. At the start of the game people thought Warriors would always have a place on every single tPvP team. As people learned to play and counter Warriors they've all but disappeared from high level play. You can't just judge everything by the lowest rung(Hotjoin).

It sure is amusing to see how many people "quit" a game that has no monthly fee *boggle*, only to spend their time complaining on an unofficial forum about a game they claim they no longer care to play.
I stopped going to church when I was a teenager, but you don't see me sitting there every Sunday complaining about how I don't believe in their fairy tale..I left, and that was it.

Don't care what enyone else things. Fractals is imo the best dungeon experience I've had ever - also one of my best gaming experiences. Maybe I'm just not into the loot or something, the dungeon design and the mood it created was awesome!
This is just an appreciation thread. Feel free to post what you feel about the fractals dungeons.
Thanks Anet. Take my money!

The types of players that hold on to one strategy never get to become good at their class. This patch is an opportunity for you and the rest of us to experiment and explore other options. You can either bi*ch about it, or accept it and give your best to overcome the obstruction.
Also, you yourself say that I should 'post my personal opinion', but experience has taught me that phrases like '80% of us...' just don't really fit the context.
Anyways, people who decide to quit the game over such a thing only expose their weakness and lack of patience and effort.
------------------
I just want to add something on topic - we've lost something, but we've gained something else. Ether Renewal is indeed very powerful now, I've tested how it holds in dungeons and it's great. The 15 second cooldown is hardly noticeable; in the Fractals of the mists often I imagined that my heal is on CD while in reality it wasn't. This is definitely my new main healing spell.
Give Fiery greatsword a chance as well. I've written a small thread with the transitional build I currently use, until something better surfaces. You can find it in the PvE elementalist page.

These are guides all written by myself that I want to share with everyone. The hope is that they can help you all out while leveling or learning this form of crafting.
I used to write guides for FFXI when content was hard to find in that game. So this kinda came naturally.. I'm also constantly updating it with anything I run into while playing this amazing game.
If you notice any errors please notify me here or PM me. I spend about 3-5 hours editing a day and it is VERY is to look over something.
Thank you for your time everyone, enjoy the guides and guild wars 2 :-D!!
NOTES:
9/13/12 -
I am aware that cooking is out of date, I'm currently leveling a warrior and slowly building the guide off personal experience. Rather than looking at 5 database sites and noticing the information is changing faster then I can type it. It should be released soon.
9/14/12 -
-Changing the Color Scheme so it is less of an "eye soar"
9/18/12
-Doing a Ton of revisions, because google sites doesnt like to save everything o.o This has led to A LOT more errors then I thought there was. Crafts would change mid swing asking for older versions of the guides materials or insignias, It was a mess
-MOVING to a new hosting site, using Joomla, should look pretty and be pro
-Making Videos with the new revisions (and yes, those will be a pain to revise as well, so I need to get it right the first time haha)
9/24/12
-New Site launched
-Revisions being made (old format to fonts and color was lost)
-Images to be added to guides soon

Too much alone alone alone. It's an MMO. I completed it in 20-30 minutes and we had a few Norns in the group. We had a great time, cracking jokes and urging each other on. Such camaraderie would be lost if you were on your own, plus it would be terribly boring.
The problem with jumping puzzles and what gets people to rage over them, especially this one, is that it takes experience to know how to move your character on FPS movement type games. New players will have a very hard time using WASD and spacebar in combination with right click camera turns for maximum efficiency. Crikey, I've seen Youtube videos of people doing jumping challenges with just the Q, W, E, A, S, D keys, slowing doing 90 degree turns after each jump.
The jumping challenge was a challenge for the first twenty minutes, but after that I figured out the jumps and did it ten minutes later, while having a great time with the other people in my instance. Sipping coconut rum probably helped too!

(*)If your playing habits are terrible.
If you play line a sane person, this doesn't affect you.
That seems to be your problem. You cannot handle long term goals, you need to get it ASAP IMMEDIATLY NOW. This makes you stop having fun, since you draw out exactly what you have to do.
Meanwhile, sane people do see the skin, notice they just have to do the dungeon for it, and do the dungeon a couple times a week, and eventually get the skin. While having a blast.
The problem really is your playing behavior, not the game. You can turn anything into a chore if you do it in a dumb way - ie the way you play, which is such a bad way. I know, it's apparently the new american thing to never savor anything and instead just devour masses of it all at once, but that's not healthy,

I don't know if this is some sort of restriction on the character creation, but literally every name is taken. Anyone have experienced this or I am paranoid?
Your names are clearly not as unique as you think.
