It could be a trait with an internal CD, displayed by the very trait sign above your health (like other buffs), reading:
Your next blind bypasses Defiant, Aegis etc. Internal CD like... 30 Sek? Making it a thieves version of Aegis.

Not sure why you think Thief needs any kind of party-wide dps buff.  Perma blind on trash and stealth are buffs enough.  I kinda like the concept that the most "pure offensive" class in the game has among the two best defensive utility for the team.

Because by going for an acro heavy build you explore an offensive party buff (not a defensive one) in a not so "pure offensive" concept.
You're right, though. A "mandatory" party buff which leads to the 1 thief per party to give up his pure offense would be counterproductive.

I actually doubt it would go into the crit tree, since that would make it too obvious to take. The warrior party buff is out of the way and in tactics, as opposed to Power, for obvious reasons. You wouldn't have to drop self-DPS to gain party DPS. But I like the name!

You know what? You're absolutely right!
Given how often the trait line is neglected it should probably be an adept or master acrobatics trait.

In terms of thief PvE I'm pretty much "okish" with how things go. Dungeons & fractals are harder than with say warrior, but 1 thief per group (me!) ain't no drawback. Single target dps is still beastly and Back powder is still a trash killer. You have to be on top of your game, but frankly i enjoy that.

What I don't enjoy or to say it more bluntly absolutely loath though are scaled events like scarletts watchwork generals who just can't be done in melee with a thief and force us to use ranged weapons which we frankly don't really have (SB? LOL. P/P LOL!!!). Rarely I've felt so useless.

That would be superb. Crit Master Talent. "Go for the Eyes!"

To be honest it feels off....almost like they lack confidence in the game so they are pushing this stuff. It's not a bad game, but I do think it needs more time and is not going to be ready by April.

I'm with you on that. I actually enjoy it alot (again NDA), it has a different feel than other MMOs and all that.
But there are parts like combat (NDA YAY) that give you a glimpse of something that could become great and yet... I'm not seeing it getting doen 'til April.

To be fair, though, over all I think it gets bashed far too much. Will it survive through subscriptions? I don't know honestly, but I feel that it's much more daring than GW, feels much less like a standard MMO and personally I like it better.

P.S. I hope I'm allowed to say all that :D
