Indeed a very beautiful song from what I heard so far. I will buy it for sure on Friday, and now I am seriously considering to order the directsong special disc set as well ^_^

Indeed. Sadly Amazon only sells to U.S. customers. I would have wanted to buy it too.

I don't know where you are located, but amazon.de and amazon.co.uk both have the track listed, and it will go on sale there on Friday.

http://www.amazon.de...45030625&sr=8-1 &  http://www.amazon.co...45030692&sr=8-1

So depending on where you are, simply do a quick search on your local amazon site and it should come up.

Few things:
  • Just because sword+pistol is good doesn't mean it's the only good option
  • Sword/Pistol are not required to be good
  • I disagree with phys about the Scepter ... it was good in BWE3 and is likely to be better after it Jon Peters gives it a little TLC.

Couldn't agree more with this, and sasxxa's post for that matter. There is choice, there are a ton of different builds available, and personally, I made the choice to not use the sword/pistol build.

Instead I went with the condition, buffs and dolyak rune option sasxxa described. Did it make me a dps-powerhouse? Probably not.
Did it make me less effective? Absolutely not, I just made a choice to commit to a different playstyle.

In my opinion the question should not be "are we being forced into a build?", but rather "are we forcing ourselves into a build because of our perceptions about the class?".

On my Mesmer,  I'm a Staff / Scepter+ Torch (or focus) Enthusiast. I love to play the condition builds and am not a fan of the "In your face"  sword-pistol slashing. It's really just personal playstyle, but theres something very terrifying about standing in breathing range of melee classes (yes, and mobs) to me

On the Engineer, I love the Pistol and Shield combo; for the Ele I'd stick with staff as my favourite, basically for the same reasons as above.
