the "yikes" comment directed at you is completely appropriate, as you stated a major studio would reneg on the game's development. of course, that goes against everything jacobs has stated about the using kickstarter, which was to avoid a major studio to begin with.



if you're so confident aapl will double in 2 years (wait, weren't those with more money and smarter than you stating it was on its way to $1,000 per share by the end of 2013 just a few months ago when it hit $600 pps? yikes, look at it now, down 40% since), then you'd liquidate everything you'd own and leverage up on derivatives to place a directional bet.    care to back up your words? may is just around the corner.

nobody is charged if the KS is not met, so there's little risk and plenty of reward.  and the entire reason for a KS according to jacobs is to prevent any involvement of a major studio.  nice try and logic, though? yikes.

My small "donation" has already bought me a lifetime sub for camelot unchained.  all for a few hours of work in RL.   you should also ask yourself why there's such an "invasion" to the community for a return to that DAOC sentiment.   it sure as heck isn't for DAOC's pve.   and gw2's pvp has devolved into zergfests during off-peak hours, or flipping keeps before the 15 minute timers just to boost a "Scoreboard".  

the large "update" to wvw was also laughable, with extra "rank" points that could increase your damage to guards by a few percentage points? really?

for the love of everything great about pvp and rvr, bring on CU! assuming more people hear about it and fund it of course.
