I've been running 0/30/0/20/20 on my main and I love it, but I actually have an extra thief sitting around (don't ask). He's currently geared for bleeds, but I've been thinking about switching to a crit build and going 0/30/20/20/0 or 0/30/25/15/0 (or maybe even 0/30/15/15/10 for Thrill of the Crime). Has anyone tried traiting into both Shadow Arts and Acrobatics with any of those combinations? How do you like it?

Dannus, I rarely used my condition thief in dungeons because of the bleed cap (we have a ton of necromancers and an engineer or two in my guild), so I'm afraid I can't really help you much there. I can't get your link to work for me while I'm on a work computer, either. ): I did notice that my condition thief took more damage than my crit thief -- the one I usually run in dungeons -- because his best source of multi-target damage was through death blossom and things would still hit me in between death blossoms, hahaha. I don't have a problem in dungeons, though. Perhaps you should try another build and see if you find something that works better? c:

p.s. If your group thought that thieves are too soft in dungeons, then maybe they're the ones who sucked. :P

I can't seem to access your build from work, but it sounds like you're thinking in the right area. Like Vysander said, however, I think it's more practical to specialize in either condition dmg or pow/prec/crit, rather than both. You might enjoy a crit build more if you like to use D/D for single-target damage, but it's really all up to you.

I run a build similar to what Vysander posted, 0/30/0/20/20, with Thrill of the Crime and Bountiful Theft in the Trickery line for a smidge more group support. My gear is full Berserkers with ruby orbs (would love Divinity runes but they're more than I can afford at the moment) including jewelry, and I occasionally switch out some armor pieces for Valkyrie stats. I use any combination of SB, D/D, S/P, D/P, or P/P depending on the situation.

I really enjoy having 15 in acrobatics for the extra dodge, but it's not really necessary if you time your dodges well.  I just like having it. :P The extra vitality is a nice plus, too.

I'm currently level 72 and using S/P in PvE -- black powder is great, and it's nice to be able to hit more than one mob at a time with my autoattack. I find it a little too slow in WvW without Haste, though, and the cooldown on Haste makes it not worth it for me. I prefer D/D for PvP. As you said, the condition damage is really nice, and if you prefer more direct damage, stealth/backstab is pretty awesome against single targets.
