I for whatever reason am not able to find previews for these. Can someone post them?

Longbow vs Rifle

08 October 2012 - 04:52 PM

Up till now I have always used a rifle because I was cond spec'd but since I've switched to a GS; would longbow be better?
The range is also further than of the rifle but I'm not exactly sure about how they match up against each other.

Priory sword

Does anyone have an image of it? The effect doesn't show in the preview window.
//edit I just blindly bought it.

About difficult to obtain armor skins

16 September 2012 - 12:26 AM

Am I the only one that considers them to look pretty bad? It could simply be because I use heavy armor.

Order armor (not that hard but you can only get the armor from 1 order) looks pretty bad. Dungeon armor, while better than order armor, is still ugly. Cultural armor looks pretty bad at T1, T2 is better but not something I'd pay for and in the T3 set only the legs are worth buying. And what's left is the Orr 42k karma armor which is probably the ugliest of them all.
The models I do consider to look cool are all easily obtainable (crafted gear from TP).
I'm playing a female Norn by the way.

A side-effect is that I have pretty much no reason to grind for those things since I consider them to not be worth my time.

I'm not complaining about not having anything to do now, just wondering if my tastes in armor looks are just that... weird. Cause from what I understood was that a big part of the endgame was to obtain good looks and better looking things would require more effort, thus, those things must look good yet I don't agree and surely professional designers must be designing these armors to be aesthetically pleasing to everyone.

Final personal quest reward

12 September 2012 - 09:34 PM

So part of the reward are 5 loot bags, so far so good. However, upon opening them I got a blue level 16, 26 and level 48 item. The other two were 78 and 80, Now why in the world would the random generator that selects the items upon opening the bag include items in the 10-50 range, seems kinda stupid as it's the final reward for completing the personal quest.
