Hey, ArenaNet.

What did you do to my beautiful log-in screen?

It was obvious that someone worked really hard on it, and the first time I saw it, I sat there mesmerized (pun intended) for several minutes just watching the images change in the logo and listening to the music.

Sigh- well, at least there's a YouTube video :surprised:

During the Hunger Royale finale event, my Sylvari Mesmer stayed on the map until the server booted her. Since then, any time I try to load her, I get an error message, saying that the instance cannot be accessed. I figured, well, she'll be gone anyway, no big deal.

Today, I took my Charr Necromancer into his home instance, but got stuck at the load screen. About 8 minutes later, I rebooted my system, and when I tried to load my charr, i got the same message.

Again, no biggie, he'll be gone anyway. But it would suck to have my main stuck in limbo after launch.

Anyone else have this problem?

For anyone who was wondering about the discrepancy between the Facebook release post (which indicated a midnight release) and the countdown timer on GuildWars2.com (which shows noon), here is the response I received from the Guild Wars Support Team about the issue:

Thanks for letting us know about that discrepancy. If it hasn't already, it should be fixed soon to show which time the game will launch, which would be midnight PST.
