My standard build right now is very similar to it at the moment, but it can be adapted depending on your playstyle and preferences.
care to share Ultra ?

You can check it out here:  The Healway Guardian
I can't really see a visual build neither in the post nor in the videos, that's why I'm asking ^^

thanks for the feedback,

In Topic: [Answered] Is it possible to level to 80 just by this?

i had 50% ish map completion without crafting on my first toon when i became 80.
on the opposite side, I had 19% map completion when I hit 80 in less than 44 hrs (1 to 20 : mapping towns and starter zones; 20 to 40 : Kessex Hills, chain of DEs; 40 to 80 : craft mastering 4 crafts)
when you've already done 2 100% world completion, you search shortcuts, because the "real game" (my definition of it, at the very least) begins at 80, because the game changes (Orr mob aggro, dungeons, Fractals, ...) and you're fully operational (skills, traits and gear)

now, back to your question, I would say 'yes, you can level from 1 to 80 JUST by doing map completion'
but doing always the same thing would be quite boring in my humble opinion
although 1. avoiding kiling mobs that do not count in your map completion, 2. avoiding DEs on the current map, 3. avoiding any other source of XP, seems almost impossible ... quite a challenge, though ^^

if you want to discover the game, just go with the flow with one aim in mind (yours would be to complete the current map) : you see a DE, do it, you see someone needs help, help her/him, you have your daily to complete, do this and et caetera

excluding every part of the huge GW2 gameplay but yours seems ... to be your very own opinion =)

good luck,
cheers!

I have a asura guardian and I gotta say that I''m liking the animations on him. Leaping and dodging around feels very nice. Like I'm a little yoda. :) Only thing I regret is that stuff like armor and weapons don't really show off nice with an asura imo, but that is I think with all professions on asura.
agreed on asura animations

not agreed on armor ... I have these : gem bought, Vigil, T2, T3 and I really like them ... especially Vigil and T3
and tbh, even draconic look nice ... but it's a matter of taste =)

anyway, thanks for sharing!

thanks so much for your awesome detailed answer!

thats what I guessed, this is a *PvP build ... but thanks to your knowledgeable assumptions and theorycraft, you gave me some directions and that sounds really great if I could adapt it from a WvW point of view
so I'll keep that in mind when I'll test builds for WvW

thanks again!
