Also, going by your screen shot, the swirly star (totally not a technical term) is indicating a portal or door you need to go through to get to where the story will continue. In this case, it's the portal to Verdant Brink that you get to by going through the doorway in the wall that is on the west side of the Amber Sandfall fort. If you don't mind spending a couple of silver, you also can just use the Shipwreck Peak waypoint.

My little thief, Daxxa. She can charm the coin purse right out of your pocket. Either that, or her dagger works.

You can turn of map icons? Like POI's and such? When did they implement this option (that should have been standard from the beginning with no option to turn it on)?

For the world map, it's been there at least since release. I want to think I played around with turning things off in beta... but that's been awhile ago.

Perhaps related... I've often wondered what it would be like to turn the whole UI off and try to learn to play strictly by "feel".

In Topic: Please help me; seriously annoying email issue

Maybe I'm missing something... and this seems so remedial I'm embarrassed to even suggest you haven't tried this yet... have you copied and pasted the URL from your email to your browser? Have you tried manually and VERY carefully typing the URL into your browser? If the problem is something with your email not sending you to the right URL when you click on a link, these things would fix that, I think. The fact that other links in email are working okay makes this one a toughie.

I have a pretty good idea of what your "something" is (NDA-covered something that's going on this weekend :P), so I tried getting to those URLs myself and they seem to be working fine, so it doesn't look like the sites are down or anything.

Hope you get it figured out!
