Its also P2P..[/background][background=rgb(229, 236, 238)] [/background]
[background=rgb(229, 236, 238)]Never understand the issues people have with p2p games , i remember when wow was releasing pre launch the boards were full of people whining about how 15 dollars a day was to much money to pay for a game .[/background]
I live in texas which has a low cost of living ie pay is less then somewhere else but since we have no personal income tax other then it`s not bad . my 25 dollars a hour here would be 35 ish in say cali.
just amazes me i guess that so many have a issue paying 50 cents a day for unlimited access to a game not counting scheduled maint etc .
I mean 1 day of overtime just 1 day pays for a 2 year sub ohwell .
Yep I`m skeptical how TESO will turn out also supposedly the lead desgin dev was a lead dev in the org DAOC so that`s a plus as DAOC still has the best rvr GW2 while being a good copy of DAOC isn`t as good .
While DAOC and warhammer were both made by the same company , they didn`t have the same people working on them and it showed how warhammer RvR was
.
All they needed to do to make Warhammer a good game was use a better game engine , and move DAOC entire RvR system, complete with crafting, guild and player housing.
Then slap Warhammer artwork, graphics, classes , lore on top , adjust OP CC aspects that were in DAOC and that game would have been 10 times better then what they gave us .
While id like TESO to be good , I suspect it`ll turn out like every other MMO in the last 8 years , dumbed down , easy mode grind treadmill to pull in the most people and make investors happy

if you can you should try and free up 5 points from honor to use in virtues .
as far as builds yes dps guardians are very viable if you look at the top of this forum you will see two threads sticky both are good and worth reading ,
there are a lot of builds you can use and all are effective , best bet is to try them and see what fits your playstyle .
atm i`m playing around with 0/15/20/15/20 build using hammer and mace/shield or secpter
you can also try 0/30/0/20/20 with sword/shield and mace/focus focus 5 + judges intervention + protectors strike can be some nice aoe burst damage .

As far as your post about how hammer guardians are not fun or that great in small scale fights, i`d direct you to this guy`s vids .
I1ve been watching Raggok aka oozo vids on and off since 2009 in warhammer he always has some good fights .

Sanctum of rall server has a good pve player base , Gaiscioch is on that server and they run server wide events daily open to everyone on the server .
you can look up what events are happening and what time it starts at the Gaiscioch.com site then click on the events link , events in Red lettering are GW2 events , all times posted are PST timezone .
They run everything from map completion , fractals , dungeon runs, crafting mat gathering events a diff zone every week. as well as WvWvW events also .
there`s something going on every day and everyone on the server is welcome to join . they use raidcall 5012 instead of vent .

People always try to zerg and use the mentality that zerging works, and the other side zergs so we are too .
But you don`t need overwhelming numbers to win , infact small scale hit and run tactics , deception and diversion tactics to capture key targets before the timer counts points is better .
Like have a 5 - 10 man group act as a rearguard patrolling your backline supply camps recaping, killing sentry, enemy doylaks and hunting down enemy raider attacking the camps .
Then send couple 5 men groups up behind their backlines raiding their supply, every now and then attacking a tower, as a diversion setting up a treb etc and hitting a tower wall etc , you could even take the tower , use hit and run tactics the goal isn`t to hold the camp but drain them of supply , and tie up a larger force trying to stop you .
By having skrimshers doing hit and run attacks on their supply , you do 3 things , you drain them of resources ie supply, you split up his zerg into smaller more manageable size and you cause him to waste time chasing you around the map , attacking towers now and then as a diversion or a ninja , divides his forces yet again , if they don`t divide and try and roll as a zerg even better .
Then you set up 2 main attack groups , working together along with the skrimsher groups , to deceive and attack multiple targets while one of the attack groups attacks the main target objective . this forces the enemy to decide what to defend , as most of the time they can`t defend 3 targets at the same time ,at the very least you`ll get 1 of the targets which is fine .
Sadly tho most have no grasp of small scale tactics and see the game as a we need to capture the entire map with a zerg to win , when you really don`t , the game is objective point based , all you need to do is drain him of resources , split up his forces , and capture key objectives before points are tallied thus gaining points and if he retakes it fine , just do it again before points are tallied and deny him points by taking it so points are counted before he can take it back .
