apparently it has something to do with crowbars only working if you get them from a barrel and not the ones on the ground, i'll try in a bit.
offtopic: Dulfy, did you see my comment on your site for the clock tower guide? It was some advice on that certain part you were saying you had some trouble with and im sure most people as well.
