Just wanted to ask experienced players if a mesmer can be a viable profession for a 'survivor' character in solo play from starting to level 80.
Survivor meaning not dying while doing PvE (questing, exploring, farming - DE's and mobs) in a more or less 'normal' playing fashion - not pulling only one mob at a time or doing stuff well below your level, etc.
Assuming "adequate" player skill, playable lag, etc.
Of course any profession can be a survivor as well as a mesmer, but I'm asking more from the point of view that many are saying the mesmers are 'not so good' in PvE.
