Rather than flame the survey to oblivion, try to provide some constructive feedback.  That is more useful than writing angry comments.  

This is the first time we've seen a survey, so obviously Anet has taken the comments to heart and is trying to get some valid feedback to try to improve future events.

It's a lot easier to analyze survey data than trying to sift through all the vitriol and hate people have been posting, to find useful comments. ;)

Am I the only one who noticed that interview/piece is two years old?

There are vast and sweeping changes from what was described two years ago... that's what happens when a game is in development.  That is also consistent with something Colin said in a multitude of interviews - that EVERYTHING was subject to change at any time if they felt it wasn't working well within the overall big picture of the game.

Would I prefer it to be as described in that interview?  Sure - just like I'd prefer the dye system be account-wide as described in a blog entry by them two years ago... but things change.  Comes with the territory.

Guild WARS events not Guild Wars 2

John is GW1 Live Team, therefore there will be event upcoming, which means this is probably in the wrong forum.

Seeing as he is GW1 Live Team event can be wintersday

maybe a finale to show the sylvari tree being planted

no one knows or will know unless they say any news.
