I found this video made by dontain and his view in this video is a strong view and i too believe this is why GW2 isn't as great as it could be!

So, recently i've been playing my Thief so i can get him to level 80 and have some fun Roaming in WvW. Onto the main part is solo-leveling.

I've read the guide(Sticky) on Thiefs but i need more depth from experience thief players and Opinions/choice's of their builds they use during Leveling/General Pve. I know their has also been alot of changes to the thief since the start especially for weapon sets.

All in all i would like some suggestions on these:

A Build that can be effective for solo general Pve but also somewhat useful in dungeons/fractals ect.

Are D/D Still the best DPS over other weapon sets? If not then what is?

General advice when being new for a thief?

Predator animation changes

When i first saw the predator rifle pictures and the video of the person who first obtained it i fell in love with it- That sci-fi sound and a Purple trail for your bullets, grenades are purple ect. Seeing that kept me motivated into playing this game alot more then usual but after the changes i feel abit disappointed.

Now i know its a "If you don't like it don't get it" or "Complain more about everything do" but actually im happy with what anet has produced so far and they've had their slips but i really feel the predator has lost its appearance. I mean the Purple shot with the sci-fi sound to me was the most interesting part about it but now its a orange colour.

Anybody else think you should be able to choose between the 2 skins? I.e when crafting a box appears asking if you would like the Purple or Orange?

Guild panel bugged?

Has something gone wrong with anybody else's guild panel? Currently sitting in a 1/1 Member guild which the rest off the guild are sitting on vent. The logo has changed, no guild status, my name is grayed but i'm still representing according to the officer in the guild. I am representing but nothing appears in guild chat and not only that but i can't leave the guild or be kicked by an officer.

Anybody else experiencing this?

Ascalonian Weapons

Are the ascalonian weapons still bugged? Equipted it during the day and it changed to night after a few hours-The bow turned blue but with no animation? Read up on a few threads but there from the start of october and was hoping now that they may have fixed the animation? anybody else experiencing the same problem?
