Would you ever have reason not to rez someone after fight?

My guard went down under umpteen stacks of poison in an event just now. Only one other PC running around. I supported that player and pulled agro so they could do their thing. Did they bother to raise me? Nope. I understand not to do so during an attack, but not to during a lull or after the event instead of running around and talking to people? Am I missing something here?

Yeah, I know. Cry more. I really don't get that attitude.

Who all hasn't hit 80 yet?

I'm a casual player (obviously). I started with a Necro, got him to 42, then switched to a Ranger (30-something) and an Elementalist (28). Now I'm playing a Guardian (54). With all that time, one of them could be an 80. The point is, I haven't made it there yet.

So I wondered who else hasn't made it? I see everyone talking about Orr and 80s and I've never been there. If you don't have a maxed character, where the heck are you hanging out? Because like others have mentioned, a lot of areas are so dead I jump for joy when I see another character (and not a bot).

Red Mark on Skill Symbols?

Could someone please tell me what the red mark in the lower right-hand corner of some skills means? I don't know what to call it, so searching for an explanation has proven fruitless. Thanks!
