I will admit they got me. I was expecting some actual fixes, instead...we got that.
Sure they didn't nerf backstab, they simply nerfed S/D thief. Just made a problem even worse, by insuring more thieves go backstab. Was hoping to have more viable builds, not to lower the amount of viable builds by one. On the other hand my warrior is even sexier.

Meh, compared to ele it's just boring. Sit in one place auto attacking and pressing 3 and 5 every so often. Traps for AoE. Maybe it's different for PvP but I can't enjoy it xD

Actually no, it's not. THEY sent out two copies, you didn't physically break into their office and take one.
Don't be such a nancy about it. You got two copies, take advantage of that. A-net enjoy screweing people over it seems, so vise-versa is fine.

Rampager's trades 91 condition damage (and the vit bonus) for +224 precision, which is roughly +10% crit chance. Assume you are using a shortbow for the cc, you still have a high rate of attack, reasonable damage, and those crits do matter, Probably a lot of people have a few traits thrown towards crits as well.
It all comes down to how you play. I mean, I remember in GW1, trappers ran with staves, but it's not like that anymore, your weapons are still a reasonable component of your damage mix.
FWIW, I use rampagers, but I don't think it's that important. I'm more concerned with the runes, etc, specificly the condition duration modifiers.

- Trapper's Expertise: Trap skills use ground targeting and are 50% larger.
- Trap Potency: Conditions caused by traps last twice as long and traps recharge 20% faster
when I do dungeons, half of the time, I Crowd Control (CC), so I use the all 4 that are dedicated for this (best example would be CM and its trash mobs):
- spike (cripple)
- chill (chill)
- muddy terrain (immobilize, cripple)
- entangle (immobilize)
- spike (bleed)
- flame (burn)
- viper (poison)
- entangle (bleed)

Pull mobs, flame trap goes off, then spike trap keeps them from leaving the area of effect. Add in a Barrage or Poison Volley for additional effect.
