Steelseries Guild Wars 2 mouse

In reading about the Combat Mode mod, I saw someone say that MMO mice are bannable because they use macros or something for the extra buttons.

If so, does that mean I can get banned for using a Steelseries Guild Wars 2 mouse? If so, well I won't have a problem with that, but I just find it weird that THE Guild Wars 2 mouse would be banned from Guild Wars 2, the game. Steelseries isn't in any way related to Arenanet, which I understand, but then again... Arenanet does promote the Steelseries peripherals on their site...

It's kinda like that situation a while ago, where this woman accepted an apple from an airport staff, but then a little bit later got interrogated and fined for being in possession of that apple, by the security team of the very airport she accepted it from :mellow:

I was a bit hesitant to start this thread since my last one about Counter Strike GO didn't go so well, but surely Guild Wars 2 fans would have some time to venture outside the MMORPG realm and delve into a little bit of something else every once in a while?

I just purchased this this morning and am in love with it. I only played a little bit of the first games when I was younger so I've kinda forgotten how to play it. Peeves are that it doesn't really have any kind of tutorial to properly show how to play, so I've found the learning curve a bit difficulty, but am having a lot of fun all the same.

I keep getting this error, and have followed all the steps on the support page, including removing my anti-virus, port forwarding and allowing in the firewall.
