Okay, lets shoot this off else where an actually talk about Guild Wars 2 and why it doesn't have some obvious game features and yes, I have fully understood your previous quotations before you ask.

I could list so many pointers on how this game could be made more appealing with some simple features but I'm going to list 2 main things.

#1 Has a level cap in every single zone - I mean, why would they need to have done this, to stop power levelers? Isn't it a bit obivious on how to stop this from happening?

We shouldn't have to run through a zone(depening what zone it is) trainning monsters with whatever level you are(assuming you're a higher level than the actual monsters) to potentially die for whatever reason, mining, gathering and so on.

#2 Has no Inspect/Examine - For those who don't know what that is(assuming you all do), you're able to Inspect/Examine a player to check their gear/weapons or accessories for whatever reason. Why should you have to spend time and time again grinding for your Legendary weapon and not get to show it off? Not everyone will notice the effects off the weapon if their not paying attention.
errrm... lets see.
#1 Fails to mention actual end-game content and doesn't even realize the activities you can do at max level or possibly at any other level, since levels really don't matter that much is this game.

#2 Successfully mentions useless features that really aren't needed in the game.

Oh and I wonder why they would de-level.... possibly because they don't want you to one shot everything and rush through the content. Plus there is a lot more to come, and when I say that I mean A LOT. Anets primiary focus will be content, once they have gotten rid of all the major bugs.

Guild Wars selling as much as ToR, a *subscription* game of debatable quality, is nothing to get excited over. It depresses me really.

SWTOR sold 2 million copies by Feb 1st.  http://www.joystiq.c...sales-feb-2012/

GW2 has already sold 2 million copies, and it launched 20 days ago.

SWTOR is based on one of the best known media franchises of all time... you know... Star Wars.

Guild Wars - despite having GW1 -  was a little-known title up until recent months when every gaming review site on the 'net suddenly realized there was a new contender in the MMO field.

I'd say the fact that GW2 has already outsold the first 3 months of a Star Wars game is pretty damn impressive, even if SWTOR was subscription-based.

Oh, and let us not forget - GW2?  Yeah - it suspended digital sales for several of those 20 days.

Games don't get great numbers because it's a good game

Games get good numbers if:

1) They got the fan-base from a previous installment (think Diablo 3, CoD ect)
2) It's a good game and it travels by word of mouth / has a free trial.

All I need to say is, this is the worst MMORPG I have ever played, if you have played any DECENT MMORPG's in your time you would understand why this game is just not for certain people and it a waste of time playing. Also getting to level 80 isn't the most fun thing to do as doing side quests is very boring, but I have already completed my world 100% & yes, I found is VERY boring.

And you just decided to ignore everything else I said too?

Examples of what you'd consider a decent MMO?

Also, the key here is YOU found it very boring, therefore that factors into YOU not liking the game.

Not everyone is you, and, believe it or not, there are people who do like this game, don't find it boring, and find it better than other MMO's that they've played before.

If you don't find Guild Wars 2 boring then you certianly haven't played it much, I got to level 80 in the 3 day early release(before it was officially released)
Okay, let's just examine that statement.

Did it occur to you that maybe the game wasn't meant to rushed through to the level cap as quickly as possible?   That maybe you were supposed to enjoy journey rather charge through it without looking around at all?    If you went out and bought Batman Arkham City, tore through the game ignoring all the side quests and achievments and unlocks and finished it in record time, do you really think that would be a satisfying game experience?   Maybe the problem isn't the game, maybe it was playing GW2 like every other time-sink, grind-filled MMO of the past.    Or perhaps it was expecting GW2 to be like every MMO in the past where hitting the level cap is the main reason to play.
