Sure, you might not be able to use a few of them but seeing as they are not soulbound you can sell them and buy another piece if need be.

Selling a rare does not equal buying an exotic. Do you honestly think buying those boxes are worth it?

Okay. Let me prove you wrong.

1) Boxes involves RNG four times. Will it be an exotic? Will I get the piece I need? Will it be level 80? Will it be the stat combination I want? The chance of getting what you actually need is abysmal.

2) Ascended amulets are only available through Laurels, whereas exotic armor is easily attainable through many parts of the game.

3) The time it takes to obtain one piece of exotic is ~1 hour, whereas the time it takes to obtain 5 Laurel is 90 hours.

It's quite sad that your need to prove me wrong takes a toll on people who are just asking questions on this forums. You should really question your motives before posting.

Your entire post sounds very whiny and I completely disagree. Warriors are perfectly viable, you're not supposed to have a lot of disengage skills, that's why you have the largest health and armor. You can build to have the highest consistent damage AND great burst, you have support builds too. Only thieves and mesmers (and maybe eles) can have even comparable burst. You want to complain about elites: battle standard is a rez +3 boons to all nearby allies, and the signet gives you 3 boons for 30 seconds on a 1 min CD that isn't bad, rampage sucks I agree. Eles have it way worse, elitewise. Some of the problems you point out aren't unique to the warrior, other professions have them too so stop acting like a child.

Are you kidding me? Dailies have been here since the beginning. And these aren't fetch quests, you can easily complete all the requirements of the daily just playing normally a little bit.

Just seems like a build from a casual that really doesn't understand builds specialized for PvP or PvE outside of easy world content and dynamic events.

I've heard some silliness going around about how Axe/Mace is supposedly the best DPS weapon.  From what I can tell, it's crap.  The numbers simply don't support it, not by a long shot.  Even assuming generous vulnerability numbers (and vulnerability sucks in general, especially since it's halved on bosses) axe is coming up much lower.  You know what?  Let's just do this:

Berserker Axe/Mace, 30/10/0/10/20: Berserker's Power, Dual Wielding, Axe Mastery, Rending Strikes (assuming 3 stacks of vulnerability), Heightened Focus, Empowered (assuming 3 boons)
Auto: 609, 1300, 2070 per 3.75s = 1061/sec
Cyclone Axe: 568 total, -313 net, -46/sec, ~6 stacks of vuln
Crushing Blow: 812 total, -249 net, -15/sec, ~3.25 stacks of vuln
Eviscerate: 1766 total, 705 net, 64/sec
Total: 1064 overall, 3452/sec

Berserker Greatsword (20/25/0/10/15) - Berserker's Power, Slashing Power, Forceful Greatsword (assuming 10 stacks of might), Heightened Focus, Rending Strikes (assuming 3 stacks of vulnerability), Empowered (assuming 3 boons)
Auto = 597, 597, 768 = 784/s, ~7.5 stacks of vuln
HB = 4690 total, 1554 net, 150/s
Bladetrail = 1280 total, 496 net, 38/s
Rush = 1450 total, 666 net, 39/s
DPS = 1011 base, 4099 overall

So someone explain why people think axe/mace is more?

thanks a lot crybabies, what worked fine before today is now nerfed because "wahh I want sigils."  We didn't even get weapon stats, which actually has a reasonable argument going for it (loss of hp and/or toughness).  But you all cried, and got your way, and I hope you're happy with losing 30% of damage over a sigil.

I can't believe you're attempting to blame other Engineers for rightfully wanting sigils on kits, rather than laying the blame solely at the feet of Anet for this ludicrous nerf.

The damage nerf was obviously designed to reduce the effectiveness in an attempt to oppose on crit sigils.
Adding a third guaranteed proc, and a possible fourth when triated, is not the solution to this problem.  That would compound the problem instead.
Reducing the proc from a guaranteed third to a possible third is the solution to this problem.

This keeps untraited Nades viable, addresses the on crit sigil issue, and keeps Grenadier attractive but not mandatory.

Weapon stats are next. They wanted to get sigils in first because they promote build diversity.  But weapon stats are coming.
How about instead of whining about it, you suggest a possible solution?
I find it ironic that you're whining in the same post you call others crybabies.  It amuses me.

Aether your QQ knows no bounds. I don't think I've seen you make a post that DOESN'T include some sort of Elementalist QQ. Right now Eles are VERY viable and competitive in tPvP, especially D/D aura share Ele. If anything ANet will tone down the downed state(almost guaranteed) and buff/nerf other areas as they see fit(maybe).

2 months ago everyone thought Eles were underpowered and useless. A month ago they become a mainstay on nearly every tPvP team because people found a niche for them. At the start of the game people thought Warriors would always have a place on every single tPvP team. As people learned to play and counter Warriors they've all but disappeared from high level play. You can't just judge everything by the lowest rung(Hotjoin).
