Finally, after months of questioning the fate of the Elder Undead Dragon, I've found Zhaitan's body!

After killing the Elder Dragon (with sparkle cannons =P), my party and I decided to check-off skydiving over Orr from our Things-To-Do-After-Level-80 List. Well, amazingly, we all forgot our parachutes on the ship and fell tragically to our deaths.

We found we ended up where our first gunship had fallen, still running along with various other Pact soldiers (who we hope weren't ghosts @_@) Fortunately, I brought a revive orb and thus we began our exploration, or so we thought. Unfortunately though, I was the only one not stuck with the ship (curse those invisible walls!) so I had to venture alone. From this point it was all just empty space and swimming in nothingness for a long while which I will not bore you with a thorough retelling of.

After long periods of swimming and moving around invisible walls, I found Zhaitan! Here are the screens =3

EDIT: Forgot to also mention, found Zhaitan's tails that were cut/beamed off which actually led me to Zhaitan, so I guess those are also included in the model.

Wow, nicely done! That helmet you used is pretty much perfect.

Here's my attempt at a Marvel superhero. I actually posted images of my toon in another thread but with a different color scheme, so I tweaked the colors and ended up with a female version of Flash:





Armor I used: Norn T2 helmet, T2 gauntlets, T2 boots, Whispers chestpiece, Dark leggings. The shoulders are hidden. I was thinking of using the guild chestpiece, but unfortunately there's no guild logo that resembles a lightning bolt (afaik).

Now that I think about it, the helmet I used would be perfect for a "Lady Thor." I just wish there were capes available, lol.

After seeing some posts here, and on the official forums for awesome recreations such as Dr Who, Stormtroopers, Darth Vader, Roman Legionnaire and others, I thought might be good to put together a comprehensive guide on recreating these icons in GW2. Posting a character shot, then a recreation you made in GW2 of the person your emulating and a quick summary of what you used.

Mine is Nightmare, from Soul calibur 2 specifically. Heres the pic

Uses Dark Helm, Pitfighter Shoulder, Orrian Gauntlets, Nobleman's Breastplate, Heritage Legs, and Boots. Wielding Nightmare sword.

Anyone has a suggestion to make it better please let me know. Interested to see what others come up with. Will also try to posts others I find with credit to those that created them.

Upcoming AoE skill balancing (nerf)

• One of the issues brought up a lot in WvW./sPvP is AoE (Area of Effect). We feel like they are too strong at the moment and a lot of people in WvW are gaming the system using AoEs.
  
• For people that don’t know – max targets for siege weapons is 50 while max targets for AoE is 5.
  
• Reducing AoE effectiveness to bring them in line with the single target damage skills.
  
• Major update coming to all the AoE skills – make classes that are good at single target damage stand out a bit more.
  
• Same thing with dungeons – right now if you have a lot of AoE you can past encounters by just spamming AoE which is not what we want.

Sounds like a pretty stupid idea. They don't like zerging, but they want to nerf AOE? Not sure if I follow you on this one Anet. If anything this makes zerging more viable. Funneling a zerg through a choke point and aoeing them was somehow unfair? Funny, I thought that was strategy.

Seriously, do you even WvW Anet?
