I still love the official forums. You can troll as hell, be nasty to anyone without getting an infraction. But trying to be funny gets you kicked by a moderator.

I wonder how long I can do that.

I don't know though I got in trouble when I said, "This thread has a bunch of kittening nerds in it!"

Pot calling the kettle black.

Uuuuh so you show a picture of JQ probably defending Bay by trying to rally people so they can get a treb down (me guessing no idea what really is going on there) and show "15" of you.  But you're not accounting for the other "15" of you behind and up or around the keep (not spawn).

Yeah makes sense when the guy is talking about being spawn camped.

On the whole, I am having a blast in WvW right now, fighting as the underdog in WvW.

I am not sad to see fair weather warriors disappear, either. I am OK with that.

  The only two issues I am having right now that pisses me off are;

1) JQ zergs break and run. This really irritates me. However, this is a natural side effect, I think, of JQ not having large guilds that form the core of our zergs. Guild zergs are better than PuG zergs. Thats just life, you have to accept it.

2) I am happy as long as we are ticking 120+. That means I have somewhere I can go, get into a fight, and have some friends and allies around me.
Ticking 60 PPT and stuff like that just means everyone quit, and I am looking at facing 1 vs 40 every fight if I go to any map. This happens from time to time, and since I only play to WvW, it means that I just turn off the computer and go do something else.

All I want is a good fight somewhere I can join in on.  Damn the score, and damn the quitters.

They do, but when you get a solid group whether or not they're one guild or many it's good fighting.

Only time I run is when I have a five man out and am staring down 40+ people running at me.  And the running is usually to get to a tower in order to defend more than likely that size force isn't coming for the camp.  Well, maybe the yak, but not the camp!

In my younger years I took Karate, did some full contact, and taught kids.

I never coudl stand watching Van Damme for that reason.

He can't possibly have fought in the tournaments the way he fought in the movies. Oh look, right kick! Another right kick! Hey, a right kick again! Wow, a right kick! Heeeey............right kick.

Yep.  Also we're trained for no "Hyah" or any other noise.  Anyone watching will be able to time or know what you're about to do.  I believe it is almost a normal thing in most Karate/Tae Kwon Do classes though.  Because of this I thought the same of Bruce Lee (I like some of his movies and such to so don't get me wrong), even though he was traditionally trained in Wing Chun.

Is this Joker from Lost Cause?

EDIT: At any rate, regarding the battle at North Supply Camp, it was a great fight, but for the [Pro] guys, some advice from Sensai Musashi...

"It is harmful to do the same thing several times in the course of combat. You can do the same thing twice, but not three times."

Book of Five Rings, Scroll of Fire

  Take that, Sun Tzu quoters!

Doh!  Nevermind I looked it up.  :)  BTW I studied Kung Fu for many years one thing drilled into your head is to have no habits.  Nothing you start with and nothing you end with routinely.  When I see this in fighting I cringe everytime.

Maybe to stick my nose where it doesn't belong, but one thing I noticed was too many holding onto relic guilds.
It's a shame when your old tag dies, but if you can't field a party routinely it's dead. This game is played best in raid sized groups, and the better those groups interact together the better this game is. What JQ could really use right now is twice again as many of these teams. Be honest about who's really gonna be a good lead, join up and start playing together.
In a month or two you'll be done lamenting the old ties. Some of you over there have an inkling of how many guilds are combined in TW, old guilds! What we've created here can be replicated.
Well.... You won't have our bloodthirsty wives or our style or our dashing good looks.. But you get the point ;)

Edert: Not really directed at you bud. Plague would actually be a good foundation if all the boys from war played. It was just what inspired it <3
and the fact my weekend is begun ;]

I agree, but people are bull headed.  I run with SG a lot of nights and mesh well with what they do, in fact most nights I run with SG tag now.

Plague plans on rebuilding (although probably not for this game), we did 5 man group last night that held out fairly well for a long time even though the rest of the zerg was herp-derping around the BL.

BTW we have our own blood thirsty wives!
