I don't know though I got in trouble when I said, "This thread has a bunch of kittening nerds in it!"

I got permabanned Monday for saying that I wished Noodles would come back to JQ because I missed his bags.

I am appealing it, but they tend not to be overly responsive. The moderation there is pretty much the worst I have ever seen in any community period, let alone a competitive gaming community.

I still love the official forums. You can troll as hell, be nasty to anyone without getting an infraction. But trying to be funny gets you kicked by a moderator.

I wonder how long I can do that.

On the whole, I am having a blast in WvW right now, fighting as the underdog in WvW.

I am not sad to see fair weather warriors disappear, either. I am OK with that.

  The only two issues I am having right now that pisses me off are;

1) JQ zergs break and run. This really irritates me. However, this is a natural side effect, I think, of JQ not having large guilds that form the core of our zergs. Guild zergs are better than PuG zergs. Thats just life, you have to accept it.

2) I am happy as long as we are ticking 120+. That means I have somewhere I can go, get into a fight, and have some friends and allies around me.
Ticking 60 PPT and stuff like that just means everyone quit, and I am looking at facing 1 vs 40 every fight if I go to any map. This happens from time to time, and since I only play to WvW, it means that I just turn off the computer and go do something else.

All I want is a good fight somewhere I can join in on.  Damn the score, and damn the quitters.

Kiai

My sensai used to keep a katana with a bamboo sheath on him. If we didn't kiai properly, meaning loudly, sharp, and in time with the strike, he would take the katana and whack your shins with it.

He did a lot of smashing shins and knuckles. We were supposed to build up calcium lumps on the bone to make them tougher and less sensitive.

Wow...now that I think of it....that stuff would probably be illegal now.

Doh!  Nevermind I looked it up.  :)  BTW I studied Kung Fu for many years one thing drilled into your head is to have no habits.  Nothing you start with and nothing you end with routinely.  When I see this in fighting I cringe everytime.

In my younger years I took Karate, did some full contact, and taught kids.

I never coudl stand watching Van Damme for that reason.

He can't possibly have fought in the tournaments the way he fought in the movies. Oh look, right kick! Another right kick! Hey, a right kick again! Wow, a right kick! Heeeey............right kick.

This is true to some extent.  But we don't call them transfers they're JQ.  JQ doesn't have a lot of big guilds that only do WvW so the WvW guilds that moved to JQ are the ones you see.  We have EMP that is rebuilding, AoS rebuilding but both are PvX.  Most of what you will see out there are pugs or Quarrians that aren't in a large guild that go out there daily to do what they do.
Maybe to stick my nose where it doesn't belong, but one thing I noticed was too many holding onto relic guilds.
It's a shame when your old tag dies, but if you can't field a party routinely it's dead. This game is played best in raid sized groups, and the better those groups interact together the better this game is. What JQ could really use right now is twice again as many of these teams. Be honest about who's really gonna be a good lead, join up and start playing together.
In a month or two you'll be done lamenting the old ties. Some of you over there have an inkling of how many guilds are combined in TW, old guilds! What we've created here can be replicated.
Well.... You won't have our bloodthirsty wives or our style or our dashing good looks.. But you get the point ;)

Edert: Not really directed at you bud. Plague would actually be a good foundation if all the boys from war played. It was just what inspired it <3
and the fact my weekend is begun ;]

Right now, you are within about 40k of number one while morale and organization is in a real low point.    A few weeks ago BG was about 70K behind you at about the same time in the day.

JQ will bounce back fine.   The panic talk is just that, talk.

You just need to reorg and shake it off.  JQ has before.  JQ will again.

JQ has remained far stronger than you think you have.

/salute

We are more or less reorganizing as a lot of our main commanders have some real life commitments to take care of. And what wotah said we have always had a high lvl of pug's and random players that will do the little things and are out there every day. This is what keeps us Quarrians strong cause our pug's will listen and are out there day in and day out.

Heh...well, I'm still out ther every day doing what I can.

Can't say much for JQ though...only 10-20 people per map just isn't going to get it done. It's pathetic.
It's just system shock.
Once some of the green-humping idiots have transfered (I've no doubt the process is already well underway) and there's less derping to deal with, things will pick back up. There's a lot of players like you and I on JQ. Some I've played for years with. Nothing drives them off like easy wins and fairweather queues.

I am an avid motorboater.
Has that expression made it over?
If not, ensure no prudish types can see the screen before googling

Not for me but a quick google fixed that, lol well that what makes the world such a fun place, all sorts :)

I see Tempest Trolls are living up to their name. Given their performances over the past week though maybe Tender Wolves might be more appropriate.

Stop blobbing with the entire map TW, break free from the pugs.

No, it is your behavior over a long period of time that gets at me if anything.  Every compliment you have given any of the teams out there in general have always been slighted to say the least and the way you personally carry your arrogance.  I find it distasteful to say the least.  I could barely even withstand your "Inspirational speech."  I guess hearing 39 seconds of it for the first time last night really got me to not be an "Indo fanboy."  I don't mind lack of recognition in any case, I have nothing to prove to anyone.  Nor will I try to impress anyone.

::edit:: Oh yeah, I am in a small Pnoy guild of exactly 15 members.

Nice troll, but from the looks of it, you know how to read child, unless being 12 years old and the pitfalls of our education system in 'Murika is truly holding true to it's promise of the dumbing down of society.  I must have painfully mistaken you for someone that was of at least drinking age.  My apologies.
