Unless they remove dodge, the optimal build is and will always be zerker. I run full zerk with around 16k HP 30 crit and 30 acro, I have enough evades to dodge an army and enough damage to make everyone happy.
I'm not even counting food here, which quite literally can give me an infinite amount of evades back to back on S/D
I rarely down in a fight and if I do it's because it was an encounter I had never done before. I disagree with them nerfing zerker stat's, it will change absolutely nothing. If they want variety they shouldn't have taken out healer/support and made npcs so dumb.
I can play better in a high risk high reward set, I rather not get sloppy and take 2 hours just to finish a dungeon in soldiers. I am all for variety, but screw that.
Maybe if the game wasn't so gimmicky and had bosses that didn't just spam the same old faceroll shit 24/7 we would see less people in zerker. I welcome the challenge, would make it less boring.
Simply nerfing zerk is the wrong move imo. Oh and tequatl did not force me out of zerker, sure I can't crit but I don't die either. I still have that 3k+ power too. Not to mention it's only like a 15 minute fight? Why would I switch just for that..
Maybe it's because I play so much pvp, but this games pve is mind numbing easy. I could do most content naked with just my weapons because combat in this game is based on what traits you take more than what gear you have.
In pve, all it comes down to is dodge. That's literally all it is. I can't fathom why anyone would want to run a tanky setup when you can just be immune to damage instead and do 10x the dps.
