I honestly believe they should have a separate WvW monthly and PvE monthly. Like PvP is separate from PvE.

I think they should put anything that requires a group into some 'dungeon monthly', and only have soloable content in the PvE monthly; As someone who enjoys WvW I'd also love a WvW monthly. IMO they should just add a separate monthly for PvE (solo), dungeons, SPvP and WvW - they cover all their bases that way.

But /shrug... whatever, as people say the rewards not good enough to force me into doing it when they fill it with forced group requirements; still irritating though.

Edit: I would also make the monthly rewards mutually exclusive so you can only complete one of  four per month; that way players don't feel forced into farming the rewards from all four, but always have an option that suits their playstyle.

#2088872 So Andrew Macleod Threw His Jughead Crown In On Ascended and Gear Score / Checks

And my response in that same thread:

That would've been plausible if they had simply been cosmetic items and not an entirely new plateau of power to chase after, obsolescing our previous equipment. As it is, there's no reason to believe you, or Mr. Whiteside. What you've done is directly contrary to the loudly and repeatedly stated design goals and philosophy the game was supposedly developed around.

Let Messrs. O'Brian, Flannum, and Johanson come out and explain how this move can be reconciled to their many past pronouncements about lack of grind and aesthetic rewards. Let them come out and offer detailed metrics to reassure us that this statistical power boost was a needed addition to the game. Let them come out and promise us that this addition was a singular anomaly that will never be repeated. Then I might believe your claims.

Joy. Gear treadmill. Just what they promised GW2 wouldn't have.

#2067576 Solution: How to resurrect dead zones

Posted Sandpit on 07 November 2012 - 10:42 PM

Just make rewards for ALL zones worth it. Players will always flock to any area where there is profit, if a zone is empty it will always be because it isn't worth it. If you want more players in lower level zones then you have to make the challenge, and the rewards worth it. With the level scaling system it should be possible to make every zone end-game content.

Because they have no respect and write in their own language + they suck at gaming. (Not everyone, but most)

I could say that of Americans too... And English.  They insist on talking in their own language!

#1951855 I'm sorry if you got the wrong impression, but we love this game.

Posted Proseidon1 on 20 September 2012 - 02:19 PM

I hear a lot of whining on the forums. Okay, fair enough, I expect that. However, these people that have problems with the game towards the point that they regret their purchase are beginning to think that they are part of the majority. They couldn't be more wrong.

I'd just like to take a moment here to say something for the silent majority.

We love this game.
We're having lots of fun.
Yeah, there are some bugs that suck, but for the most part, it's a great way to spend a few hours.

Sorry if you thought we didn't like it, but we do. Sorry if you thought ANet is losing customers left and right, but they aren't. They have us. So whine. Complain and threaten and troll and do whatever you wish. Just know that you are a minority, a hedge case, and just because you don't love this game, doesn't mean we don't.

I'm not saying this game is perfect. I'm saying that I agree with the design decisions and the direction. If you don't, please play something else, because you're going to ruin it for us.

#1938855 Female armour looks ill-fitting

Posted CharrGirl on 17 September 2012 - 02:39 AM

Thing is, the armor is not supposed to accenturate parts of your body, but to protect them. Disregarding this, GW2 armors still have boob cups for you to enjoy lol. And those medium armors DO show off the curves.

P.S. GW1 models always looked so scrawny to me, with huge legs and ultra-thin bodies. Glad I can at least change some of that in the sequel
