Being an ace implies you are the best.  Anyway, though the engineer seems to be decent at everything, I enjoy this about the class because I can find a number of ways to play it.

1) Sigils effects aren't bound to the weapon skills they provide.
2) I'm not sure if 2 sigils of blood will heal for double.
3) You can have a sigil of bloodlust and blood.  The way sigils work are that you can only have 1 sigil that gives you + stats per foe you kill.  

As you observed, having 2 on kill sigils just doubles the rate you get stacks.   If you had 2 on crit sigils, if 1 of them activates, it puts both of the sigils on cooldown (Using the cooldown timer of the activated sigil I think).

I've heard somewhere that the heal from Elixer infused bombs is mediocre, I haven't tested it myself but you might want to.  If you still want to do this, I'd probably take out the 10 points in firearms or even from explosives, since you will be dropping bombs in melee range and mobs generally don't run away from you so the cripple won't be as effective.  As said above, you could use the elixir gun, with 10 points into tools with the trait Kit refinement, when you swap to the elixir gun it'll drop the elixir's #5 skill.

I swapped out the 30% less reduction to turrets because they will still die fairly quickly even with it.  Since I took 10 points out of explosives I replaced that trait with cloaking device to give you some sort of surviability.  If you wanted more survivability you could take those 10 points from firearms and put it 5 points into alchemy and 5 more points into toolkit.  Having inertial converter is extremely useful, though not as useful with the healing turrets, more useful with medkit or elixir H.
