I'm stuck on darkhaven which is 70% EST and 30% PST. And it ****ing sucks, excuse my language, because 1. we can never get a WvWvW raid going and 2. there's never anyone on during daylight hours (I made the switch to darkhaven a week before I knew the deadline on free server transfers which means I couldn't transfer to a different server when it was free.)
It will cost me 40 gold to transfer servers or $20(I think?). The idea of having to farm that much just to play with people... Absolutely terrible. But, I'm not going to turn this server into a rant, so which of these 6 servers are 80-90% PST-PDT?
Sea of Sorrows
Stormbluff Isle
Jade Quarry
Blackgate
Sanctum of Rall
Tarnished Coast
here is my timezone information: http://localtimes.in...mbia/Vancouver/
thanks, much appreciated.
**EDIT**
Also, if anybody is on Crystal Desert, can you figure out if it's still PST-PDT(Vancouver time)?
Thank you very much. I appreciate it. (I made the dumbest mistake of switching from Crystal Desert to Darkhaven because of my guild)

Grace Period over - No retail serial key
03 September 2012 - 01:18 PM
Okay, so I just found about this grace period bull****, and can't log in because I don't have a retail serial code. I don't have the receipt for my prepurchase at ebgames/gamestop so technically I don't have proof of purchase to recieve whatever bull**** serial key there.
Is there anyway I can start playing again? Or did ArenaNet completely scam me into completely wasting $60 into this ****ty activation system. I'm pretty damn sure they didn't say anything about TWO serial keys when you prepurchase.
Support takes way too long so I figure someone here would know something about this ridiculous scam.
I can't believe I spent around $500 for a completely new computer system (mobo, RAM, and CPU) + the game and I can't even play the game due to this misinformed grace period double serial key ****.

Dungeons: Squads?
29 August 2012 - 09:22 AM
I've been doing a little bit of googling, couldnt' find much info on this. But does anyone know if squads can be used in dungeons?
On the official gw2 wiki it says that squads can be formed and used in PvE but it does not specifically state dungeons anywhere.
As i'm playing with a group of 6-7, it's going to be terrible when rotating people around for dungeons, we're going to have to do story mode twice in every dungeon along with tons of explorable mode runs.
Thanks, hopefully I can get some knowledgeable answers here.

Intel i5 3570k worth it for GW2?
29 June 2012 - 06:37 PM
I'm thinking of grabbing an i5 3570k + a mobo this weekend for $360 tax included.
Is it worth it if i'm only planning on playing GW2?
Or is there a cheaper budget option I could go for under $250(total) and still be able to run GW2 on all settings?
Notes:
-I have an ATI Radeon 6870 HD GDDR5 1GB and 4GB ram as well.
-My current CPU is a duo-core E7400 overclocked at 3.2ghz, with an average of 5-25FPS since BWE2(though stress test seemed much better, but I didn't have a chance to use FRAPS.)
-Resolution: Planning on playing GW2 at a resolution of 1400x900
-Aiming for an average of 50FPS at max setting
I realize GW2 is technically still in beta, but any kind of help would be appreciated, thanks.
