Maybe this has been suggested elsewhere, but the current game mechanics (scoring) dont exactly create an environment that nurtures alliances between two losing servers. Quite the opposite really, the fight over scraps rather than fight the unbeatable 2 orb holding dominant server.
Why not just reward players more for attacking the winning server? 2x the experience/karma/gold for events. 2x the medals. Twice the satisfaction!
For example, once one server holds a 25% lead over second place, this could come into effect for both the 2nd and 3rd place servers. People may be more inclined to attack the HoDs and the (JQ,SBI or ET when they drop to tier 2).
