Just accept it that sometimes you will die and continue to be glass cannon, if you sacrifice one of your stats for toug or vit it will not make big difference, but you will lose damage.

In Topic: Fully exotic geared lv 80s, what are your stats?

Assuming that you will use same set items for armor/jewel:

Full exotic armors give two stats at 224 (16% crit dmg) and one at 315.
Full exotic jewels give two stats at 310 (27% crit dmg) and one at 436.
Weapons give two stats at 128 (9% crit dmg) and one at 179 (almost identical 2h and 2*1h).

My Mesmer Rampager + Opal + Rampager wep is having extra:
Power - 662, Condition - 662, Precision - 930 without the extra points from talents.

My Ele Cleric + Sapphire + Cleric wep is having extra:
Power - 662, Toughness - 662, Healing 930 without the extra points from talents.

Let me add my number 1 - what will happen if you encounter heavy defended target (lot of armor and/or toughnes)?
Conditions are not affected by defense stats and Weakness, direct damage on the other hand is... a lot!

That is the Mesmer special mechanic - the illusions, if you are not using them is like Elementalist that don`t change atunments.
They do a lot direct and DOT damage they draw attention take hits from AOE *hint* 5 target AOEs

Burst vs DPS, DPS is always better if the fight lasts longer than 10 sec.

If condition heavy character takes property on the stack everyone benefits, and often condition based characters have tools to refresh those stacks every other second ergo take property of it.

I run staff/GS mixed DD/Condition spec atm (Power, Precision, Condition) and what i can say is that going fully black or white there will be the big bad monster named "diminishing return" that will make your day bad.

yeah that +bounce trait is a real killer. I think I'll use it over shatter recharge trait, which is almost only useful when messing up but then very usefull :P


I'm sooo waiting for a torch buff and perhaps scepter buff. this build with a viable iMage and faster confusing images would rock so hard :>

You have the torch skill "The Prestige" that applies blind, than you have the chain skill from scepter and chaos armor.

May be you can consider changing your second trait in "Illusions" for Blinding Befwhatever it is name is - when you apply blind your target gets confusion. You have 3 different ways to apply blind so you can benefit more than this conditional shatter recharger.
