If you keep a staff handy, skill 3 (i think it is) also offers a short-ish speed buff when you run through the consecration/area you place. Hope this helps.

I don't understand all the complaining personally, I like the slow introduction of things, it feels like its building upto something, as much as I want to see it all now, ANet have to account for people who can't play as much as most of us do. Im really intrigued as to what the purpose of the new castle/fort type building in Wayfarers will be. Looking forward to the rest of it being unveiled.

My guildies and I experienced this once or twice last night (shortly after the update itself), especially during path 2 (Detha) at the part with all the gravelings and spike traps, was like watching a slideshow on Powerpoint for a while it was so jumpy. Assumed at the time it was due to server lag/stress with everyone downloading the update, or the fact that AC was probably hugely busy what with the changes and everyone wanting to try it out.

I had this problem also, the final task on the daily was one more kill for the Shiverpeak Killer, which in my case was the final boss of HoTW, got the dungeon loot, all daily stats said 100% 5/5 but no daily chest popped.

You can finish the whole game only having done the story mode of the Arah dungeon, no dungeon other than that is really required to finish, but doing all the story mode runs does enhance the story leading to the end where some of it may not make much sense not having done the story modes for each.
