In spvp? Hell YES!

You need all the defense mechanisms you can, and Shield Bash works wonders with unsuspecting foe and sigil of paralyzation. You can use it to help you land other combos, and is also half a gap closer.

Here is what I'd use now. Resistant, able to chain many stuns and to deal tons of damage, with the right rotation (Example: Pommel Bash, Skull Crack, Swap, Fierce Bow, Heartshaker, Autoattack, Staggering Blow, BackBreaker, Autoattack, Swap, Shield Bash, Skull Crack). You deal less dps than with GS, but it's balanced out by the fact the enemy will be disabled for much longer, so in the end you'll deal the same damage in the rotation.

You can swap Signet of Stamina for Throw Bolas.

And you can use Soldier's Amulet without losing much.

GS build (my version: http://gw2skills.net...IjRSjsGNQYZxECA) has its main combo in Skull Crack > Swap > Hundred Blades. Works really similar to hammer, only a bit less buttons to press and a bit less options. You will fight more without stuns.

In my experience, the latter works better in solo queue, because you are more flexible and can move around the map more easily. Hammer warrior might be superior in a team environment, with a team that knows your strength.

For both IMHO the same rules applies: avoid as much as possible any fight that is more than a 2v2.

You forgot cleansing Ire.

And you can use Hoelbrak instead of Lyssa, or Melandru.

Elixir R is not a stunbreaker anymore. What about Slick Shoes?

It may be considered a double stunbreaker: toolbelt breaks stuns, main skill knocks down people around you istantly.

About bunker turrets... I always saw them less effective at just surviving against multiple enemies. But they are excellent in 1v1s, as a homepoint defender or far point assaulter.

Toolkit doesn't have knockbacks, but has a block. The question is: what do you want to do? Make sure you can survive against multiple attackers, make sure you can take out a bunker from your point or both?

And, according to Gw2 skills, Flamethrower's knockback pushes farther and has a lower cooldown than throw mine. Other than that, you also have a AoE istant blind, that also works for securing stomps.
