I'm running with exotic cleric armour and sapphire accessories. Armour runes are 2x Superior Rune of Monk, 2x Superior Rune of Water, 2x Major Rune of Monk.
The idea behind is to maximise healing power (which you all think sucks, as I gathered) and boons, with power and toughness following closely + trait synergy with my fortes and shortcomings.
With this build I'm most powerful in a group, still, I can solo champions and veterans, even some bosses, with no problem as well. The only issue I or other people can possibly have with me is my DPS output. So this is my question for you guys: Do you prefer DPS guardians or my kind of guardian in dungeons? As far as DPS goes, I have the power stacking rune on my GS and retaliation 24/7, but that is as far as I go. I could never compare to warriors in the dps department anyway, so my idea is to do what guardians are best at: support.
Your build looks good and I personally like grouping with durable/support oriented players. I can't stand grouping with glass cannons unless they are amazing, because it is so easy to get one shotted and you're hurting a party if they need to rez you 6 times a boss fight. I personally believe Compassion is almost worthless for its stat weight, but if you like it go for it. Just know you could be outputting double the amount of damage if you weren't investing heavily into Compassion.
