GW2 is a good game, but obviously not what you wanted or expected it to be. You keep posting the things you don't like, do you think by doing this that GW2 will suddenly become the game you want?
Anyway, I do agree that initially I felt movement in combat was slow....but I've gotten used to the pace, and used to the dodge rolling. I disagree that it doesn't require player skill, of course it does otherwise people would never be downed or dead. It does require quick reactions, and no amount of armor stats will help with lack of skill.
I enjoy the game, and I rarely ever post on here, because I am mostly (besides being generally busy in my life) having fun playing the game.
sad when people welcome bots ... I would close this thread and facepalm if I could... Oh no I actually have to farm now cause things cost to much.. yea *&6%$ slap ... Im talking about the good Pimp Slap too the one where your hand stays their and you jump back Nice firm slap...
Yay, they will fix the economy!
Kinda funny, I feel the same. The initial bot bans were met with welcome and people were like, ooh we can make money now. The catch then turned up; everything got significantly more expensive and so much so that it negates most farming benefits. Economics is an iffy subject at best anyway (hell most in game and real life economies are plain bad even if functional), but when it gets in the way of so much game play you know you have to do more than ban bots. You know, like not making every useful recipe require 250 of the highest mats.
Go farm more if you want something doesnt hurt to earn it... Learn good farming habits it isnt hard...
Can't as I care, Anet have destroyed the economy for the ordinary player with the last update, so anything that counters their socialist market economy, the better!
Dont even know where to begin I think the exit is up to the right...
Because the way ArenaNet handles money in this game is broken. They're stingy and only allow the tiniest trickle of money into the game, and they tax what little mone you get. The game has been forced into a deflationary spiral, devaluing everything except prices which ArenaNet controls. This is to drive people to the gem store to buy gems to convert to gold.
A surprising (even to me) number of my friends have moved on from GW2, even one really hardcore friend from tumblr whom I was sure would be with it for years. And aside from the vertical progression bait & switch, the reason I hear the most is that they're sick and tired of being broke and they strongly dislike the cynical feeling of the game - where it almost feels necessary sometimes to buy gems if you just want to bounce around everywhere with the waypoints.
I've been playing a lot of other games lately, and they've all shown how unfun GW2 is in its current state. Mass Effect 3, Champions Online, and even Free Realms have a far less cynical approach to online gaming. GW2 is a casino dressed up as a game, the people who play it are gambling addicts.
GW2 is just not a fun game. More and more people are realising it. Sounds like it's begun to sink in for you, too. OP. Move on, don't draw it out.
Yes I understand... But I think they can not let an important part of the game (creating the legendary) being stucked because of a bug. Some workaround is needed (and I do not think fractals solve the problem)
It doesn't matter if it is only for that dungeon or not. The fact is the exotic cap didn't work. GW1 system in their eyes failed. They could have made ACTUAL legendary armor just like weapons for this dungeons. They *could* have simply restructure all loot drops (something COMMONLY complained about) to allow a much greater chance of random precursors to drop is you completed "X" dungeon paths in a day or something. Or went for if you can speed clear "X" dungeon in "Y" time you get a precursor.
But no they seem to go the stat route. They aren't listening to player feedback they are running around trying to get a carrot as fast as possible. Bugs aren't on their list. Fixing the game isn't on their list. WvW/SPvP fixes aren't on their list.
But becoming more like WoW sure is.
Oh, I suppose you whined about Infusing your armor in GW1 (if you played it) as well? Seeing as you were more or less forced to Infuse your armor to get past a certain part of the game.
