In Topic: P/D + SB viable for solo pve?

10 January 2013 - 04:18 PM

i was gonna ask the same question as OP, since wild bill really inspired me to go a P/D venom build for wvw (it's freaking awesome to troll large groups of people)

i was wondering if this build is also viable for PVE (with switching a trait here and there)

so thanks for the insights :)

There's no "post Plinx" farm. It's the endgame.

I agree. Can you imagine doing this with just about anything else?

Oh I know I bought this house and lived in it for 3 months but I decided it's not for me anymore so i'm not going to pay for it and I want all the money I did pay already back!

Or.. Yeah I know I bought this car 3 months ago and drove 40,000 miles but I decided I don't like the direction your new cars are going so I want a full refund on this one.

Or... I know I bought this brand new Xbox game 3 months ago and played it for 500 hours but I'm done playing it, I want a full refund.

Anet is going to go bankrupt with this kind of generosity. People are taking extreme advantage of them. If every gaming company did this the video game industry would have crashed and burned ages ago. Why keep something when you are done with it if you can return it for a full refund. I don't play wow anymore, I wonder if they will give me the $200 back for the game and expansion I bought over the last 5 years...

whether it is moral or not, that is everyone's own decision to make. whether they grant you a refund, that is ArenaNets decision to make.

if they denied me the refund, i would have just quit the game and be done with it anyway. i don't think it's immoral to ask for a refund. as i said, in addition to the 75 euros for the game itself, i also paid another 50 euros for gems, they didn't refund those and i understand that and i'm not making any demands about it.

i didn't threaten, i didn't demand. i felt betrayed by them, in my eyes, they went against the things they stated before the release. i requested a refund and got granted one. what difference does it make how long i've played? at the end of the day, i only wasted my time and my electricity :) ArenaNet on the other hand, gained 50 euros for the gems i bought, they're still profitable.
