My speculations
1) In content updates, we'll see more dungeons added to this.
2) Dungeons might be related to old lore and old GW missions. For example, Underworld and Fissure of Woe are in the Mists.
3) Possibly tied in with the up coming pre-cursor changes. I.E if you get to a certain level of difficulty / collect enough tokens you get awarded a pre-cursor / pre-cursor token. Likewise, possibly drops from the 'special bosses'.

And then there are the planned ganks on yaks and camps. 4 minute hits on your keep exactly when your main force is elsewhere. 10 people havoc squads that you need 20 to stop....
I enter the maps and I feel something different - is it excitement, worry...fear ? I love it
Based on how they played so far BG will probably win this tier. It's not over yet, for sure. But SBI will need to bring their A game all day in order to even stay in tier 1, IMO.
I anticipate BG or SBI winning this match. JQ has to calm down, and a lot of it's members need to get over a lot of personal issues. There is a lot of constant trolling from indigenous members who rage hard at anyone who has not always been on JQ. The community itself is completely hostile. Soon as those people leave/get bored, and start working more co-operatively with the commanders JQ will be a force, but for now, it's mostly just like herding cats with a garbage bag.
I feel like I'm doing random WoW Battlegrounds, complete with the chat.

Quite a different situation. The server that wins T1 tends to recieve and influx of "band-wagoners" who are there to win which inflates queue times and in the case of HoD and to an extent JQ driven off a lot of respectable players due to insane queue times. The exact sort of people that were on a server through the good and the bad have left JQ because of the queues created. This is the price of winning that was referred to. Note this isn't to say that every dedicated person on JQ or HoD left but the atmosphere definitely becomes uneasy.

Just a heads up... FPS(First Person Shooters) were all called "Doom-Clones" when they first started coming out. Kind of a misnomer since Doom was cloned off of Wolfenstien 3D, but whatever. When there were enough of them around to justify defining the gamplay as a "genre" we got FPS. With DoTA and it's clones we now have the full fledged genre known as MOBA.

This fix is good i guess, but as you said how about all the people that just trashed all the crap they got from the chests because there just wasnt enough space for that much crap anywhere.
It should have been any 3 tonics imo.

They are being consistent. We got hats. We got a backpack skin. And they have also hinted there is more to come in terms of rewards. There is NOTHING so far that is not consistent with GW1's philosophy on events.
Simply put, you are mad because you wanted weapon skins. That's what it boils down to. You can dress it up any way you want, but that is all this boils down to. Arena Net has done nothing wrong, they have not lied to us, and they have not betrayed reasonable expectations. It's fine to be mad... I'm not saying don't be mad. But don't blame arena-net because you did not get exactly what you wanted. They've given us tons of new content and skins for free. Accept this, take a deep breath, and enjoy life.

They admitted they wanted power progression to pubstomp on undergeared people to feel pro.
They admitted they wanted auto-follow target, passive blocks/dodges and WoW ezmode tank gimmicks.
They admitted they zerged in dungeons and WvW because they couldn't come up with a strategy.
They admitted they wanted the game to tell them what to do at 80 and felt completely lost when they were told what to do is to have fun and how to do it is up to them.
The more time goes the more we're disclosing why some people got "bored" of GW2.
They bought a chessboard and wondered why drawing X'es and 0's didn't work as well as it did on their tic-tac-toe board.
This says a lot about this gen of MMO gamers, they don't bother reading anything on a game they just expect it to be another WoW clone that spoon-feeds them with informations, holds their hand into time-sinks and gives them easy, brain-dead ways of overcoming content.
I'm so happy the truth is finally coming out and the real GW2 community is forming; I thought we'd need a lot less than two months tho.
I believe in a couple weeks we'll finally be able to lay back in the chair and talk normally without having to swim in a sea of traditional MMO ADD lifeless zombies.
