In Topic: Dragon Bash Festival Thread!

I love these festivals.....GW2 has NOT disappointed me on festivals at all. I was never able to complete the Halloween or Wintersday jumping puzzles....I truly suck at timed JP's, but in good spirits I enjoy trying.

The jade weapons look pretty damn nice, I have my eye on the staff actually so I am hoping to get lucky with a ticket

Even though I am eager to be making gold/collecting materials for a certain weapon I want........I will certainly enjoy getting into the Dragon Bash festivities...and it will be a nice little break from Southsun.

In Topic: Do you still play GW2, and why?

I had a two month break, but that was because life was simply too busy at that point for me to devote any real time to playing anything, nevermind GW2, but I have been back and playing for a month and loving it. I appreciate people not liking the game, but if I was bored rigid by it and decided I no longer wanted to play it, I could think of better things to do than still hanging around a forum that is GW2 focused. Each to their own I guess.

I have played a few MMO's and honestly, they each and everyone can be boring in their own ways....it is a game after all and human beings are fickle creatures at times, but generally I love Guild Wars 2 for all that it is....the bugs are confounding at times, but in general I think it is a class, quality MMO.

In Topic: Do you care about town clothing?

I purchased both the halloween and wintersday costumes so....yes I suppose I do like/enjoy/care about the town clothing.

Am I sucker for paying 700 gems.......quite possibly? But I actually enjoy them, find them fun and like the fact they come with special skills.

I do agree the implementation could have been better perhaps.

I am enjoying Wintersday, however I was slightly miffed that after buying 30 wintersday boxes....I got 4 toymaker infinirarium toys. Why four? Are they more likely to drop than the others?

Oh well.....I learnt a lesson.

The wintersday costume is lovely however ^_^

No it's not GW1....and why should it be?

I enjoyed GW1 a great deal, its a fantastic game, however GW2 is definitely more my flavour in terms of how much more ANet can do technically speaking.
