Have seen these (including the ones from Europe), don't see what the appeal is.

Not impressed with the WvWvW meta game's highest level of competition skill cap.

In DAoC, any of those guilds would be farmed by a solid 8man.

I'd crush them all at Pong.

Also - disappointed VoTF and HB haven't fought yet. You guys should arrange something when you're next fighting each other.

And get that EMP vs VoTF vid up please :)

I heard HB fought VoTF too, by the way. Any chance a video of that is gonna come out any time soon?

I'm glad to see GvG events popping up on the NA servers, haven't watched all the videos yet but I will do. Also brilliant that TSym are getting involved - glad that you came around to the idea of GvG, even if it was sadly after us RG folk have left :( Hopefully one day we'll meet each other again.

Hope to see more videos like this in the future. Show Arenanet that, yes, we would like to have organised gvg fights, thankyouverymuch.

BTW a note on the golems, they are flat broken, and anyone using them knows it.  Then again so is runing your team in and out of veils to use the broken rendering, and standing on that tiny little spot of invuln in the back of vale, but ive seen TONS of respectable guilds using all of those, so eff it.  GIBvGIBvGIB FTW.

I think there's a pretty clear difference between Veil and the other two "broken" things you mentioned here. If the golems weren't available in WvW, no one would use them. If the invulnerable patch wasn't there, no one would use it. These two are quite obviously broken and need fixing, I agree.

If culling wasn't a problem..guilds would continue to use veil before hitting people.

Veil before going into a fight is just a sound tactic. Sure, rendering problems make it even stronger, but don't pretend that people use it "to use the broken rendering". They use it because it's awesome, and will almost certainly continue to use it after the culling issue is fixed, unless the skill itself is altered in some way.

Don't blame guilds for using the utilities a class offers simply because the utility happens to be slightly stronger due to an issue in the game. If all guardians "Tome of Courage" elites were bugged to make everything instant cast, would you complain at people for running guardians with the tome? Using the best abilities a class has is just good sense. Let's just get the bug fixed.

I found December to be a much better solution personally. If you're in a small group and you encounter an enemy zerg, you run anyway. So only seeing 50 of them instead of 100 wont be a big deal considering you were going to get steamrolled by attacking them head on anyway. Culling is mainly an issue in zerg versus zerg, and i don't care so much about seeing my allies in that situation.

No, if you're in a small group against a zerg you don't necessarily run away. If you're in a unorganised group, sure - when you see larger numbers the correct decision is to run, and I'd do exactly the same.

I really enjoy fights in organised groups against larger numbers, though. In order to win those fights, you need to know how many people you're charging into, and where they are. With affinity culling, as it's being called, we can't see that. It makes killing larger numbers very difficult. When you charge into 50 people with 20, you're already at a massive disadvantage. When you can only see half of those 50, and they can see all 20 of you, you're in big trouble. Making it harder for the smaller group to win just turns WvW into a game of "who has more numbers". I thought everyone agreed that zerging was a bad thing?
