Looking for a armorpiece (light chest)

24 January 2013 - 01:57 PM

Did CM Exp and fought the female boss named "Taylor" and want to know if its possible to get the chestpiece she was wearing.
Tried taking a picture and this was the best I could get. You can see most of the back, its pretty unique.
It's like she got some kind of chain on her back or something. Anyone know how to get this?

Help with Malchor's Leap

22 January 2013 - 04:16 AM

I found this forum to be the most suited for this topic.

I have a little problem, I can't find the last PoI in Malchor's Leap. It's impossible for me to spot. I've tried looking at for an hour and can't see a thing.

Can anyone help me out? I have completion on an another character, so I can't for the love of god understand why I can't find the last PoI. And yes, I have actually studied the map for (upto) an hour.

PS: I have the two PoI on the right side, near Waste Hollows. Also the one at entrance to Cursed Shore.

Improve my Guardian

04 December 2012 - 05:29 PM

I would like to see if there is anything I can do to improve my guardian (main).

Current build:
http://gw2skills.net...es844Ryz6iRI7GA

I got crafted Knight gear with Flame Legion runes (want to change these, but don't know what to change them with), it was originally created for 30/30/10/0/0, which was my leveling burn build. Using Greatsword and sword/scepter + shield weapons.
I got beryl amulet and rings, invaders and karka-one-time-event accessory (its BiS, correct?).

Now that I'm running alot of dungeons/fractals and WvW, I changed to a more defensive build and I like it.
My first thought when making a more defensive build was to go with AC gear, Power/Vit/tough, along with invaders accessories/amulet/rings, but I am not sure if it's worth it. I am changing out precision for vitality, which gives me about 3k+ hp, is it worth it?

I am not going to go full defensive because I really like playing with the greatsword and sword/scepter + shield. Since I'm not going full defensive, would it be best to stay full in full Knight gear or would you go for AC stats? A mix maybe?

"Take a hit or two" guardian, defensive tips

29 October 2012 - 03:55 PM

I've gotten full set of clerics armor for my guardian and want to play in a pretty "tanky" way. I chose cleric(with 6x sup rune of soldier) because I would take less damage, have alot of heal and still be able to put out decent amount of damage.

My main weapon will be greatsword, off hand may vary.

I haven't gotten any exotic accessories yet so I wanted to ask. Since my "on-body gear" is very defensive, should I go full/semi offensive stats on my accessories for the extra damage or would you pick defensive stats on those aswell?
I also don't know what sigils I should use on my weapons. The ones I bought allready have 10% chance for 3s quickness on.
Any builds to recommend? Tried googling but mostly found PvP builds and no builds including greatsword.
